Pressly attended Costa Mesa High School in California, where her mother had moved while her parents were going through the process of a divorce. Jaime subsequently sought and succeeded to have herself legally emancipated from her parents at the age of 15.
One persistent rumor is that Pressly married a man named Brodie Mitchell in 1998. Pressly, who has never married, has stated she has heard of Mitchell but does not know him.
Pressly dated her Jack and Jill co-star Simon Rex in 2000 and 2001. In a December 2001 interview with Howard Stern, she claimed that Rex "dumped me on my birthday".

Elizabeth Berkley was born in Fort Durrange, Michigan. She graduated from North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan, in 1990, after previously having attended Cranbrook-Kingswood High School, a private school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
Career
Berkley gained prominence for her role as Jessica "Jessie" Spano in the sitcom Saved by the Bell, whom she played from 1989 to 1992. Her character spoke against the objectification of women and had a pro-feminist bent. Aside from her work on Saved by the Bell, Berkley is best known for playing Nomi Malone, the lead character in the infamous 1995 film Showgirls. The sex and nudity-laden movie, given an NC-17 rating in the United States, was a box office bomb, widely panned by critics, and is generally credited with ruining Berkley's movie career.
As time has put distance between Berkley and the infamous film (and the fact that it had gained cult status among movie buffs), she has gained reasonable critical praise with her performances in smaller roles in independent films like The Real Blonde, Roger Dodger, and Woody Allen's The Curse of the Jade Scorpion. Berkley received much acclaim for her role as Honey Bruce in the 1999 London stage version of Lenny, opposite Eddie Izzard. She most recently got favorable reviews as Bonnie in the Off-Broadway production of Hurlyburly, which opened on June 11, 2005.
In 2002, she began a recurring role in the third season of the sitcom Titus as Christopher Titus' sister Shannon. The show was cancelled after the season ended. She has been seen largely in dramatic television roles since then, guest starring on series such as CSI, NYPD Blue,Without A Trace, and Threshold. Her most recent appearance was on an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She also starred in the Lifetime made-for-television movie, Student Seduction in which she played Christy Dawson, a high school teacher wrongfully accused of sexual harassment by one of her students who becomes obsessed with her.
In October 2006 Elizabeth appeared in the audience of Dancing With the Stars to cheer on friend and former costar Mario Lopez and in an interview with Access Hollywood stated she would like to appear on the show for its 4th Season.
Personal life
Berkley has sectoral heterochromia; her right eye is half green and half brown, and her entire left eye is green.
Berkley was the subject of a $45 million lawsuit filed by ex-boyfriend Roger Wilson against Leonardo DiCaprio. It was alleged that DiCaprio bombarded Berkley with messages after spotting her at the promotional party to his film The Man in the Iron Mask and was initially ignored. After encountering Wilson and Berkley outside a New York bar in 1998, DiCaprio allegedly instructed friends to attack Wilson, who suffered a serious throat injury after the subsequent assault. A judge threw out the case in 2004.
On November 1, 2003, Berkley married actor Gregg Lauren at the Esperanza Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Gregg's uncle Ralph Lauren designed her wedding dress.

Kathryn Bailey "Kate" Beckinsale is an English actress, known for her roles in the films Pearl Harbor (2001), Van Helsing (2004), and Underworld (2003).
Biography
Beckinsale was born in London to Judy Loe, a stage and television actress, and Richard Beckinsale, a television actor who died in 1979 at the age of 31. She has a paternal half-sister, Samantha, who is also an actress. Beckinsale's paternal great-grandfather was Burmese, and Beckinsale has said that she was "very oriental-looking" as a child.
Beckinsale attended the private Godolphin and Latymer School, and in her teens twice won the W. H. Smith Young Writers' competition — once for three short stories and once for three poems. After a rebellious adolescence, including a period of anorexia and starting a smoking habit, she followed in the footsteps of her parents and began her acting career. Her first role was in One Against the Wind, a television film about World War II that was first aired in 1991. Having gained three language A levels, Beckinsale studied French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford, though she did not finish her degree. She thought that having an academic background studying foreign language and literature would broaden her range of acting roles.
Career
During her first year at Oxford, Beckinsale was offered a part in Kenneth Branagh's big-screen film, Much Ado About Nothing, adapted from the Shakespeare play. She spent her last year of studies in Paris, after which she decided to quit the university and concentrate on her acting career. Kate starred in a 1996 TV film adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma. She subsequently appeared in a few low-profile films, including Shooting Fish and The Last Days of Disco (both in 1998). During this time, Beckinsale also appeared in television films and in stage roles, including the well-received Cold Comfort Farm, opposite British silver and small screen notables Rufus Sewell, Eileen Atkins, Joanna Lumley and Stephen Fry.
Her first major American film, Brokedown Palace (1999), was not a commercial success. Soon after, Beckinsale was cast in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor as the female lead, after actress Charlize Theron turned down the part. The film was one of the highest grossing films of its year. In the years following, she appeared in a series of American films that were high-profile, but were given a somewhat poor critical reception, including Serendipity (2001), Underworld (2003) and Van Helsing (2004). Notably, she appeared as Ava Gardner in The Aviator, a role for which she gained 20 pounds.
In 2006, Beckinsale was placed at #23 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World", after being #71 in 2005. She has also been placed at #16 in Maxim's "HOT 100" (2003), #63 in Stuff's "100 Sexiest Women in the World" (2002), and was chosen by the English magazine Hello! as "England’s #1 Beauty", also in 2002.
In January 2006, Beckinsale reprised her role as a vampire in the movie Underworld: Evolution, a sequel to her 2003 film, Underworld, again directed by her husband, Len Wiseman. The film opened at the #1 spot at the box office, grossing over $26 million in its first weekend of release. On January 24, 2006, Beckinsale was featured on the MTV series, Punk'd. The set-up for the segment took place at the Avalon Hotel in Los Angeles.
Also in 2006, Beckinsale appeared in the Adam Sandler starring comedy-drama, Click, which opened on June 23. Next, Beckinsale replaced Sarah Jessica Parker in the film Vacancy, released in 2007. Her next role will be in Snow Angels, which is in post-production and scheduled for release some time in 2008.
At Comic-Con 2007, Kate expressed interest in playing Catwoman in the current Christopher Nolan directed Batman films. However, in April of 2007, during an interview promoting Vacancy, Beckinsale claimed no knowledge of the rumors linking her to a remake of Barbarella. "I was told on the set yesterday, someone said, 'Oh I hear you're doing Barbarella,' one of the grips. So that's the most official it's become. Every woman would consider Barbarella for a moment, but I don't know."
Personal life
Beckinsale and her ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen have a daughter, Lily Mo Sheen (born January 31, 1999). She reported in interviews that during her pregnancy with Lily was the only time she's ever stopped smoking. During the Underworld shoot, Beckinsale split from Sheen, who starred as her mortal enemy, Lucian, leader of the Lycans. She became involved with the director of the film, Len Wiseman. In June 2003, Beckinsale became engaged to Wiseman, and the two were married on 9 May 2004 in Bel-Air, California.

Paquin moved to New Zealand when she was four. Her musical childhood hobbies in New Zealand included playing the viola, cello and piano. She has also done gymnastics, ballet, swimming and downhill skiing, but she didn't have hobbies related to acting.
Her big-screen debut happened when she attended the open audition for Flora for The Piano. Her sister was going to the audition, and she wanted to go too. The director was impressed by nine-year-old Paquin's performance of the monologue about Flora's father, and she was chosen among the 5000 candidates.
1993 – 1996
When the The Piano was released in 1993 it was lauded by critics, won prizes at a number of film festivals, and eventually became a popular movie among a wide audience. Paquin's debut performance in the film earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of eleven, making her the second-youngest Oscar winner in history after Tatum O'Neal.
The Piano was made as a small independent movie and wasn't supposed to be widely known, and Paquin and her family didn't plan to continue in the acting circles. She systematically refused them, but she did appear in three commercials for the phone company MCI (currently WorldCom).

Torrie Wilson

July 24, 2008
Torrie Wilson
AKA Torrie Anne Wilson

Born: 24-Jul-1975
Birthplace: Boise, ID
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Wrestling
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Diva WWE wrestler, manager
Father: Al Wilson (b. 4-Jul-1943)
Husband: Peter Gruner ("Billy Kidman", m. 11-Jul-2003, div. 2006)
Born in Boise, Idaho, at age ten Wilson moved to the small town of McCall, Idaho after her parents divorced. She was painfully shy, but she quickly found friends in her new school. She quickly found her niche in many school activities, including cheerleading and dance, and was very competitive in track and field.
During high school, after Wilson's interest in modeling grew more serious, her mother urged her to pursue it. They visited an agency and were informed that Torrie would have to lose weight to actually be considered for jobs. She went on to lose eight pounds, but, in the process, began a four-year-long bout with bulimia.
World Championship Wrestling (1999-2001)
Wilson moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She began acting classes and was introduced to an agent who helped her gain a few jobs, including an uncredited appearance on Baywatch. Torrie debuted in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999. However, it was a meeting with Kevin Nash backstage at her first WCW event that landed her a full time job. She debuted as "Samantha" and served as valet for David Flair. At the 1999 Bash at the Beach, Wilson led Flair over Dean Malenko to capture the WCW United States Championship.
In the fall of 1999 Wilson began managing Billy Kidman and his Filthy Animals teammates. As a result she found herself involved in the Animals continuing feud with The Revolution. At November's Mayhem, Revolution members Malenko, Perry Saturn, and Asya met Eddie Guerrero, Kidman, and Wilson in a six-person elimination match. Wilson wound up being the last member of her team and was pinned by Saturn. The next night on Nitro, Wilson and Guerrero were shown flirting on the "Kidcam" during Kidman and Konnan's tag team match. This led to a match between Kidman and Guerrero later that night and the breakup of the Filthy Animals team. Following this, Wilson disappeared from television.
However, Wilson returned on the January 19, 2000 edition of Thunder to help Kidman defeat The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea. In April 2000, Kidman and Wilson joined the New Blood faction, making them both heels and Wilson began delivering a "kiss of death" to Kidman's fallen opponents after his matches. However, Kidman soon became jealous of the attention Torrie began to give to fellow New Blood member Horace Hogan. Kidman began yelling at Torrie on a continual basis, eventually leading to Wilson delivering a low blow to Kidman and ending their relationship. Wilson again gave Kidman a low blow at June's Great American Bash, causing him to lose to Horace’s uncle, Hulk Hogan.
Torrie was taken off of TV following this, reappearing at July's Bash at the Beach during a match between Shane Douglas and Buff Bagwell. It appeared Wilson was rooting for Bagwell, as she slapped Douglas and kissed Bagwell during the match. However, Wilson dropped Bagwell with a low blow, leading to Douglas winning the match. Torrie and Douglas then left together. This led to a feud between Kidman and Douglas. At New Blood Rising in August, Kidman defeated Douglas in a strap match. At the following month's Fall Brawl, Wilson and Douglas defeated Kidman and Madusa in a mixed tag team scaffold match.
Wilson and Douglas began a feud with the re-united Filthy Animals after dubbing themselves "WCW's first couple." At Halloween Havoc 2000, Wilson and Douglas fell to Konnan and Tygress.
Wilson's final appearance with World Championship Wrestling came on the November 29 edition of Thunder where Douglas took on General Rection. During the contest, Wilson jumped on Rection's back, resulting in her being knocked into the turnbuckle and placed on a stretcher to be removed from the ring.
World Wrestling Entertainment
2001: The Invasion
Torrie Wilson made her WWF TV debut on the June 28, 2001 episode of SmackDown! as part of The Alliance during the WCW/ECW Invasion storyline in 2001. She regularly teamed with fellow WCW performer Stacy Keibler with Torrie defeating Trish Stratus in an arm wrestling match. The two of them made their wrestling debuts in WWF in a Bra and Panties match against Lita and Trish Stratus at the WWF Invasion PPV which Trish and Lita won. The following night on RAW, Torrie defeated Trish Stratus in a paddle on a pole match. Despite her relative lack of in-ring experience, Wilson (alongside Keibler and Ivory) regularly feuded with the WWE Divas as well as interfering in matches on behalf of other wrestlers in the WCW/ECW stable.
She turned face during the Invasion storyline, when her character began an on-screen romance with Tajiri. This new romance caused Stacy Keibler to turn on Wilson, and as a result, Wilson defected to the WWF. Wilson defeated Keibler in the first-ever lingerie match at No Mercy 2001 after executing Tajiri's back handspring elbow.
2002-2003: SmackDown!
When the first ever brand separation of the WWE roster took place in April 2002, Wilson was drafted to SmackDown!. Soon after this, Tajiri became very jealous of the attention that Torrie received from other men, so he forced her to wear a geisha outfit, and he also appeared to mistreat her in matches. Torrie finally tired of this, during Tajiri's match against The Hurricane, she got onto the announce table and stripped off her clothing. The distraction allowed The Hurricane to pick up the win. After this, Wilson had a brief on-screen relationship with Maven, which ended after Maven was injured with a broken leg.
Wilson's most high profile feud during her first few years with the company came in 2003 when Dawn Marie tried to marry her father Al Wilson as blackmail for a lesbian relationship between the two. Eventually, Dawn developed feelings for Al, and the two got married. Al then (kayfabe) died from a heart attack after having rigorous sex numerous times in succession on their honeymoon. Wilson defeated Dawn at No Mercy 2002 in October and again at the Royal Rumble 2003 in a step-mother vs. step-daughter match.
In May 2003, Wilson appeared in a pictorial and on the cover of Playboy Magazine. It was a few months before this time when her pictorial was announced, that a short feud with Nidia began, with the latter being jealous (kayfabe) of the fact that Wilson was picked for the cover and spread in the magazine. Both Nidia and her on-screen boyfriend Jamie Noble made trips to the Playboy mansion on different episodes of SmackDown! to complain to Hef about his picking Wilson over Nidia.
Soon after, on an April 2003 episode of SmackDown! during a segment labeled as Torrie's Playboy Coming Out Party former diva and Playboy centerfold Sable made her return to the WWE after a three year absence. This began another feud/storyline between the two women. For weeks, Sable played mind games with Wilson, being friendly one moment, unfriendly the next, and what Torrie considered too friendly after that (insinuating Sable had a homoerotic crush on Wilson). This all lead up to a bikini contest between the two at Judgment Day. Wilson won the contest and then, in the diva's first homoerotic move of her own, kissed the former Women's Champion Sable on the lips, showing her that there was "no hard feelings" due to Torrie's win over the WWE veteran.
Wilson managed Billy Gunn upon his WWE return in the summer of 2003. The duo feuded with Jamie Noble and his on-screen girlfriend Nidia. The feud came to an end after Nidia and Noble both turned face and sided with Gunn and Wilson. After the formation of this alliance, Torrie, Nidia, and Dawn Marie would feud with Shaniqua for a short period of time, an ordeal that lead to Shaniqua easily defeating Wilson and Nidia in a handicap match.
2004-2005
Torrie would team with Sable in March 2004 to feud with RAW divas Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie. The feud centered around the latter duo's jealously (kayfabe) of Wilson and Sable's Playboy cover status as well as their recently being named covergirls yet again, as the two divas were announced to be featured together in an upcoming Playboy issue. After weeks of rivalry, Wilson and Sable defeated Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie in a Playboy Evening Gown Match at WrestleMania XX. The two would appear in a pictorial and on the cover of Playboy together for the March 2004 issue.
Later in the year, Wilson engaged in short feuds with both Dawn Marie and Sable. She defeated Dawn at Judgment Day 2004 and faced Sable in a match at the Great American Bash 2004. Sable was proclaimed the winner after a Controversial three-count pin on Wilson. In November 2004, Wilson began feuding with Hiroko and numerous catfights took place between the two divas.
Finally, on February 10, 2005 on a special edition of SmackDown! (recorded on February 4 in Saitama, Japan), Torrie defeated Hiroko in a kimono match. Not long after the rivalry with Hiroko, Wilson began a new feud with Melina, which included a Bra and Panties Match at the Great American Bash 2005, which Wilson lost.
2005: Move to RAW
It was revealed on August 22, 2005 that Torrie and Candice Michelle had been traded to RAW in the 2005 draft lottery. Torrie would turn heel by attacking Ashley Massaro. After this turn she debuted a new finishing face buster move, known as the Nose Job.
Torrie and Candice's feud with Massaro continued over the next couple weeks, as the duo along with their enforcer Victoria, made things difficult for Massaro. Massaro evened the score on the September 12, 2005 edition of RAW when she brought out the returning Trish Stratus, and the duo proceeded to attack the heels. This led to a tag match at Unforgiven 2005, where the team of Stratus and Massaro defeated Wilson and Victoria (with Candice Michelle).
The feud continued into WWE Homecoming, where Stratus and Ashley Massaro defeated Torrie, Candice, and Victoria in the first ever three on two Bra and Panties Match by stripping all three of their opponents. Wilson was absent from the WWE scene for quite some time after this, leading to rumors (and even false reports) that she had been released from WWE. In actuality she had taken a leave of absence to tend to some "personal issues". Wilson was surprised by the rumors herself upon hearing the news from media personnel offering to help her find work. WWE issued a statement on their website (which Torrie also commented on) denouncing the rumors. In the statement she joked she had to "call the WWE office and ask them if they forgot to fire me."
On November 28 Wilson made her return to RAW, where she, Candice Michelle and Victoria faced off against the team of Trish Stratus, Ashley, and their new ally Mickie James. Vince McMahon would soon begin referring to the team of Torrie Wilson, Victoria, and Candice Michelle as "Vince's Devils."
2006
Vince's Devils would only be a short-lived alliance, as Torrie Wilson made a turn to a face diva once again after Candice Michelle and Victoria turned on her (kayfabe). The feud between Candice Michelle and Wilson was a lengthy one that led to a match in which Playboy's newest covergirl, Candice Michelle, faced off against the former 2-time covergirl (Wilson) at WrestleMania 22 in a Playboy Pillow Fight. Wilson won the match, but the feud would still continue on-and-off for some time.
On the June 12, 2006 edition of RAW, Torrie defeated Candice in the first ever "Wet & Wild Match" (a wrestling match involving water balloons and squirt guns with both competitors wearing white clothing) in which the winner of the match would be on the cover of the WWE 2006 Summer Special magazine. Torrie also made a special appearance on WWE's ECW brand on August 22, 2006 representing RAW in a bikini contest against ECW Diva Kelly Kelly. However, no winner was decided, and a six-person mixed tag match began pitting Torrie Wilson, Tommy Dreamer, and The Sandman against the team of Kelly Kelly, Mike Knox, and Test. Torrie's team was victorious. In October of 2006, a WWE Women's Championship Tournament was scheduled to determine the new Women's Champion. Torrie participated in the tournament, but she lost in the first round of the tournament to Melina. In the final months of 2006, Torrie entered into a kayfabe relationship with Carlito.
2007: Back On SmackDown!
In May 2007, Carlito dumped Torrie when he turned heel claiming that she was nothing but "dead weight." On the June 11, 2007 edition of RAW, Wilson was drafted from RAW to SmackDown! as part of the 2007 WWE Draft. Throughout the summer of 2007 upon her arrival to Smackdown!, Torrie entered a short-lived feud with fellow draftee Victoria. On September 28 edition of Smackdown!, she was attacked in the ring by the debuting Krissy Vaine.
Personal life
Torrie was married to Billy Kidman but they are now divorced.
In September 2007, Wilson opened her official clothing line "Officially Jaded", alongside Nick Mitchell. She will be opening a store in Texas in the near future.
She currently resides in Houston, Texas

Gisele Caroline Nonnenmacher Bündchen, is a Brazilian supermodel who has been acclaimed as the highest-paid model in the world. Since her introduction onto the fashion scene in the '90s she has appeared in countless billboards and magazine covers, as well as numerous TV and print ads. Bündchen is currently the face of more than 20 brands from different countries such as United States, Russia, Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, South Korea, Germany and Switzerland. According to Forbes, she made $33 million in 2006, adding to her estimated $150 million fortune. She is currently listed in the Guinness World Records as the "world's richest supermodel".
Gisele was born in the Brazilian town of Três de Maio in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, to Vânia Nonnenmacher Bündchen, a bank clerk pensioner and Valdir Reinoldo Bündchen, a university teacher and writer. She has five sisters - Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, Rafaela and her fraternal twin Patrícia (Gisele's junior by five minutes).
Gisele Bündchen was raised in Southern Brazil, a Brazilian region largely settled by German immigrants; both her parents are of German descent (her great-great-grandparents immigrated to Brazil in the late 19th century). Bündchen's parents are fluent in German, although Gisele does not speak it, Portuguese being her native language. Gisele studied the German language while she was at school but today she doesn't remember the language anymore.
Modeling career
Originally, Gisele wanted to be a professional volleyball player and considered playing for the Brazilian team, Sogipa. While in school, Bündchen was so thin that her friends used to call her "Olívia Palito" (Portuguese for Olive Oyl, Popeye's skinny girlfriend), and "Saracura" (a type of Brazilian shorebird). An oft-told story of Bündchen's "discovery" is that she was scouted by a modeling agent at age fourteen while eating a Big Mac at a local McDonald's.
Prior to that, in 1993, a then-14-year-old Bündchen joined a modeling course with her sisters Patrícia and Gabriela at her mother's insistence. The course, instructed by Dilson Stein, was designed for teenagers aspiring to become models. The following year, Stein took Bündchen, along with some other girls to São Paulo to give them an opportunity to walk in a big city and to be evaluated by Brazilian Elite agents. She was subsequently selected for a national contest, Elite Look of the Year, in which she placed second – Claudia Menezes, from Bahia, took first place. Bündchen placed fourth in the world contest, held in Ibiza, Spain. In 1996, Bündchen moved to New York City to begin her modeling career, debuting at Fashion Week.
Gisele's debut on the cover the July 1999 edition of Vogue Magazine, and the accompanying editorial entitled, "The Return of the Curve" is widely viewed as marking the end of the fashion's "heroin chic" era. She would grace the cover again in November and December on her way to winning the VH1/Vogue Model of the Year for 1999, and a January 2000 cover shot would give her the rare honor of three consecutive Vogue covers in a row. In 2000 she was the fourth model in history to grace the cover of Rolling Stone, when she was named "the most beautiful girl in the world".
Since her debut, she has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including several seasons of Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Versace, Céline, Givenchy, Bvlgari, Lanvin, Guerlain, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Earl Jean, Zara, Chloé, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, and Victoria's Secret. Bündchen is also the face of several Brazilian brands like Vivo, Brazil's leading mobile company, Multiplan, Colcci and Credicard. After C&A Brazil hired her and started their television commercials, sales increased by 30%.
In May of 2006, Bündchen signed another multi-million dollar deal, this time with American giant Apple Computer. She starred in an advertising campaign to promote the new Macintosh line through the Get a Mac advertisements. She has her own line of sandals with shoes company Grendene, called Ipanema Gisele Bündchen. Forbes puts her on 53rd of their list of the most powerful celebrities of 2007 due to the success of her popular shoe line, Ipanema. Custom Ipanema flip-flops sell for as much as $230 a pair. She is also the owner of a hotel in the south of Brazil, the Palladium Executive.
Bündchen consistently works with photographers, like Nino Munoz, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Nick Knight, Mert and Marcus, Rankin, Annie Leibovitz, Karl Lagerfeld, Peter Lindbergh, Mario Sorrenti and Patrick Demarchelier, among others, and directors like Jean Baptiste Mondino and Bruno Aveillan.
Bündchen has also been on the covers of most of the main fashion magazines around the globe like, W, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Allure and many international editions of Vogue, as well as style and lifestyle publications like i-D, The Face, Arena, Citizen K, Flair, GQ, Esquire and Marie Claire. She has also been featured in broader market publications such as Time, Vanity Fair, Forbes, Newsweek, Veja.
On May 1st, 2007 it was announced that Bündchen had ended her contract with Victoria's Secret. The New York Post's Page Six had reported that Bundchen left Victoria's Secret because they wouldn't raise her $5 million-a-year salary.
In July 2007, earning at an estimated total of $33 million in the past 12 months, Forbes magazine named her the world's top-earning model in the list of the World's 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.
According to Claudia Schiffer: "Supermodels, like we once were, don't exist any more." and reckons that Gisele Bundchen is the only one who comes close to earning the supermodel title.
Film career
Regarding a film career, Bündchen has said "I think it would be interesting," but counters "I'm young and I like what I do for now and I understand that everything in life happens for the moment."
She made her movie debut in the 2004 comedy Taxi, alongside Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon. She also made a high-profile appearance in the 2006 comedy The Devil Wears Prada.
Also in 2006, she appeared in one of Apple Incs new "Get a Mac" advertisements. In it, she is the personification of a home movie created using an Apple Mac Computer.
Gisele is rumored to be the front runner for the role of Vittoria Vetra in the upcoming Angels & Demons adaptation, the prequel to the 2006 International smash The Da Vinci Code.
Personal life
When she is not working or traveling the world, Bündchen enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her dog Vida (meaning "life" in Portuguese), a Yorkshire Terrier. Her first boyfriend in the United States was model Scott Barnhill, but they dated for only six months. After Scott she was also linked with hotel tycoon Vikram Chatwal and Josh Hartnett, but she never confirmed the rumors about these two.
Bündchen's most famous romance was her on/off relationship with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. They met in 2000 and dated for five years. Bündchen accompanied DiCaprio to the 77th Annual Academy Awards where he was nominated for "Best Actor" for "The Aviator." In November 2005, they broke up.
Bündchen began dating surfer Kelly Slater soon after her breakup with DiCaprio, but the two broke up by July 2006. Bündchen was briefly linked to actor Chris Evans of Fantastic Four fame. She started to date New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady before Christmas of 2006 . The couple were first seen in public in NYC leaving Bündchen's apartment in late January and in February they were widely photographed during a trip in Europe. She was rumored to be pregnant with Tom Brady's baby, but in an interview on the Spanish television show Corazón de Primavera, Bündchen finally put an end to all of the speculation stating that she is not pregnant.
Controversy
John Casablancas
Bündchen's rise to fame has not come without controversy. Like Heidi Klum and several other models, she moved from her original agency Elite Model Management to IMG. John Casablancas, head of Elite, accused Bündchen of being a stoner who slept her way to the top, though he has now stated that he was misquoted. Casablancas also filed a $15 million lawsuit against her.

Bell, who is of Polish and Irish descent, was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, a suburb about 3 miles north of Detroit. As a child she once broke both wrists at once, while playing hockey.
She went to her first audition at age 11 and won a dual role as a banana and a tree in a suburban Detroit theater's production of Raggedy Ann and Andy. She attended Shrine Catholic High School in nearby Royal Oak, where she took the starring role in the school's 1997 production of The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy Gale.
She also appeared in Fiddler on the Roof (1995), Lady Be Good (1996), and Li'l Abner (1998).
In 1998, the year of her graduation, she was named the yearbook's "Best Looking Girl" by senior class vote. The same year, she appeared in the locally filmed movie Polish Wedding.
Career
Bell was in her senior year at New York University in 2001 when she left to take a key role as Becky Thatcher in the short-lived Broadway musical of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. That same year she made her officially credited film debut in Pootie Tang (though her appearance exists only in the credit sequence). Additionally, she auditioned for the Smallville TV role of Chloe Sullivan, a part eventually won by Allison Mack. In 2002, she appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible.
Bell then appeared in a handful of television shows as a special guest before landing a role in the Hallmark movie The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay in 2003. A year later, she appeared in the television movie Gracie's Choice.
In 2004, Bell made her big-screen debut, appearing in David Mamet's Spartan as Laura Newton, the kidnapped daughter of a high-ranking U.S. government official, acting alongside Val Kilmer. Following this, she won the role of the title character in UPN's drama Veronica Mars, which was launched in the fall of 2004. The show earned positive reviews from television critics, as did Bell's performance, which some critics have mentioned as worthy of an Emmy nomination. In 2006 the show was renewed for a third season, and returned on a newly created network, The CW. On May 17, 2007, The CW canceled this program. The two-hour series finale aired in the U.S. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007.
Bell also has guest-starred on HBO's drama Deadwood in a two-episode story arc: the episodes "Bullock Returns to the Camp" and "Suffer the Little Children".
Bell received major publicity in 2005 when she was chosen to perform the theme from Fame on the "Emmy Idol" portion of the 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Bell's performance was very well received by fans and critics. Kristen Bell and Veronica Mars were nominated for two Teen Choice Awards in 2005: "Choice Breakout Actress" and "Choice Breakout TV Show". Bell won the Saturn Award in 2006 for "Best Actress on Television". Veronica Mars also was nominated for "Best Network Television Show".
Bell appeared as Gracie in Fifty Pills, a Tribeca Film Festival entry which premiered in April 2006. In the spring of 2006, she finished filming Fanboys, which is slated to be released in early 2008.
Bell now lives in Los Angeles with producer Kevin Mann (Fifty Pills and "Fanboys"). She has made several appearances on popular late-night television shows. A film version of her off-Broadway musical Reefer Madness (a spoof of the 1936 exploitation film of the same name, which was in turn based on an anti-marijuana propaganda film entitled Tell Your Children) debuted on the Showtime network in April 2005, with Bell reprising the role which she played in the musical.
She appeared in a short independent film called The Receipt. She also had roles in the 2006 films Roman and Pulse, the latter being an American remake of the Japanese horror film Kairo.
She will also lend her voice and likeness to the video game Assassin's Creed which is set for release in 2007 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Kristen has also been featured in Maxim's Annual "Hot 100" list. In the article she is said to have "single-handedly saved the CW from becoming the worst network ever".
Bell will be the title character in the CW's new show Gossip Girl, as an unseen narrator, airing on Wednesdays.
After being rumored to be joining the cast of Lost, Kristen has now been confirmed to be on NBC's Heroes for at least thirteen episodes playing a mysterious character named Elle.
It has been rumored that Bell may replace Laura Bell Bundy in Broadway's Legally Blonde musical. Bell confirmed that she is friends with Bundy as well as a show producer, and a future stint is not impossible, even with the forthcoming gig on Heroes.

Phoebe Cates is a movie star who filmed her most famous performance in her second film, when she was 18 and memorably stepped out of the pool and out of her bikini in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It has been called one of the sexiest moments in any mainstream movie.
Her father, Joseph Cates, was the producer of the original $64,000 Question and Tic Tac Dough. Her uncle, Gil Cates, is a director and producer whose credits include I Never Sang for My Father and most of the Oscar awards telecasts since 1990. Some sources say Joan Crawford was Cates' godmother; others say Jacqueline Susann. She studied dance at Julliard, but dropped out after a knee injury and turned to modeling. She reportedly wore braces in adolescence, but became famous as a cover girl for teen magazines like Seventeen, before becoming an actress. She stripped at 17 in her big screen debut, starring with Willie Aames and singing the title song in Paradise.
Cates is a good actress, but had difficulty getting past being typecast as a pretty airhead. Her other films include Gremlins, Gremlins 2, and Shag: The Movie with Bridget Fonda. In the campy TV soap opera Lace, she memorably asked Brooke Adams, Bess Armstrong, and Arielle Dombasle, "Which one of you bitches is my mother?"
She married actor Kevin Kline in 1989, and co-starred with him in the charming Princess Caraboo several years later. She has since withdrawn from moviemaking to raise her children with Kline, although she briefly returned to cinema in 2001, playing Kline's wife in The Anniversary Party with Jennifer Jason Leigh. Leigh and Cates have been best friends since making Fast Times at Ridgemont High together in 1982.
Kids today are much more independent than their parents were. We're really into getting jobs and we mature sexually much earlier than a generation ago. Or, at least, we are involved in sex earlier.

Her first name, though it's spelled "Diane," is pronounced "Dion," like Celine Dion.
She made her movie debut in the Christopher Lambert action movie The Piano Player, and has worked in several French-language films. She married the director of her second film, Mon Idole (My Idol), Guillaume Canet.
She starred in Troy, an adaptation of Homer's epic poem The Iliad. The poem is 3,000 years old, hated by high school and college kids everywhere required to read it, but the surviving cliché about Helen of Troy is that she's supposed to be the most beautiful woman in the world. She's the face that launched a thousand ships, remember?
Troy was supposed to make Kruger a star, but that remains to be seen. She has since appeared in Wicker Park with Josh Hartnett and National Treasure with Nicolas Cage.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Ostrosky began her modeling career by doing fashion shows at the age of 9. Continuing to model through her high school days at suburban Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, Ostrosky moved from Pittsburgh to New York City soon after graduation to pursue her modeling career.
In 2000, "Beth O" met radio personality Howard Stern at a dinner party. They soon after were considered a couple, though it would take Stern nine months before confirming this on his morning radio show. She has been known to call into the show from time to time. On February 14, 2007, Stern announced on his radio show that he proposed to Ostrosky in the nude a day prior. According to Stern, the proposal doesn't necessarily mean they'll ever get married, rather that they're just engaged, although Ostrosky has "agreed" to a prenup.
Recently despite their engagement, the road is seeming rocky for this once perfect couple as Beth has commented that Howard is going to be a "groomzilla" and on Howard's October 16, 2007 show Beth and Howard argued after Howard blew her off for a game of chess . The couple has also been counseled by celebrity psychologist Dr. Keith Ablow who has brought to light several things the couple doesn't like about each other including among other things a lie that Howard told to Beth, and Howard's dirty house habits.
Career
Soon after her New York arrival, talent scouts began to take notice of Ostrosky, and began to offer her bit parts in movies and television campaigns. Ostrosky received her first major role playing opposite Ben Stiller as one of the daughters of Stiller's "supposed" birth parents in the 1996 film Flirting with Disaster.
Ostrosky played a more prominent role opposite Amanda Peet in the film Whipped four years later. Meanwhile she continued to pursue her modeling career, becoming known for her specialization in swimsuit spreads.
Ostrosky continues to model. She also does some television, most recently seen in the new season of G4 show Filter, and the Spike TV series Casino Cinema. She has also appeared in her own line of calendars as well as on the covers of several magazines. Ostrosky has been named in the Top 100 Sexiest Women of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2007(#76) by the readers of FHM. She is number 96 in the AskMen.com Most Desirable Women for 2007.

Bebe Buell (born Beverle Lorence Buell on July 14, 1953, in Portsmouth, Virginia) is an American model and singer, but is also well known for dating and marrying a long series of rock musicians.
Her mother, Dorothea, sent her pictures to the Ford modeling agency, and received notice that the agency was interested after only three days. She began modeling professionally at the age of seventeen, and moved to New York City in 1972.
She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the November 1974 issue; her centerfold was photographed by Richard Fegley. She was one of the first top-line fashion models to pose for the men's magazine, although it cost her the contract with Ford. She was promptly signed to Wilhelmina in the USA and Models One in the UK. Even after the Playboy appearance affected her career in the States she was still in demand in Europe appearing in British and French Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan to name a few.
In 1972 while working as a teenage model in New York City, Buell met and dated rock star Todd Rundgren for several years. During and after her sometime open relationship with Rundgren, she also became intimate with many other famous musicians, including Mick Jagger, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Jimmy Page, and Steven Tyler maintaining a home with Rundgren in both New York City and the Woodstock New York area where they lived together until late 1977. Many people assumed they were married and Bebe was often referred to as Bebe Rundgren in the media. She is the mother, with Tyler, of actress Liv Tyler, born July 1977. Buell allowed her daughter to believe that Rundgren was her father until the late 1980s, as Tyler was still deeply addicted to drugs at the time. Buell then moved on to Rod Stewart and in 1978, she began a tempestuous affair with the married but separated Elvis Costello which continued on and off until 1984. She was also involved with the late Stiv Bators.
In 1981, Buell recorded a four song EP on Rhino Records, produced by Rick Derringer and Ric Ocasek, with The Cars serving as her band on two tracks. The rock band Power Station began in 1984 when then-boyfriend John Taylor (of Duran Duran fame) pulled some famous friends together to provide backing for another of Buell's musical efforts. She also formed the band The B-Sides in 1980 but they disbanded in 1985.
She founded another band called The Gargoyles in 1985, and released a couple of singles. A few large record companies were showing interest, but they disbanded when the paternity of her daughter Liv became publically known in 1991. She withdrew from performing and for six years in the 1990s, Buell managed her daughter Liv, helping to launch her career as a successful international model and actress.
Buell married sometime musician and actor Coyote Shivers in 1992, but they divorced in 1999 after a year long separation. Liv left home in 1997, and her mother returned to music to record a solo effort with producer Don Fleming in 2000.
In 2001, she wrote an autobiography (with Victor Bockris) entitled Rebel Heart: An American Rock and Roll Journey. It hit the New York Times Bestseller list and the paperback was then issued in 2002.
Buell married musician Jim Wallerstein of Das Damen and Vacationland fame in 2002, and returned to modeling in 2003 signing with the IMG Agency in New York City. She also performs around New York with the Bebe Buell Band, featuring David Matos on guitar and vocals, Tommy USA, Enzo or Tony Goddess on bass guitar, and Gregg Carey or Bobbie Rae on drums. Recently she teamed up with Boston musicians The Rudds and The Neighborhoods drummer Johnny Lynch to form a new band for a few shows which also includes husband Jim Wallerstein. The summer of 2006 marked a return to the stage with shows in both New York, Boston and Los Angeles. As of June 2007 the line-up for The Bebe Buell Band is- David Matos on guitar, Jim Wallerstein also on guitar, Tony Goddess on bass and Bobbie Rae on drums. She plans to use this group of players for her next record which is in the works for a 2008 release.
Cameron Crowe has said he based his "Penny Lane" character in the 2000 movie Almost Famous on two women he met during the early 70s — Bebe Buell and Pennie Trumble aka "Penny Lane". He speaks highly of both Buell and Trumble in the extended DVD of the movie and even said that he took some of Penny's direct dialogue from statements Buell had made in various interviews over the years. Kate Hudson was nominated for an Oscar for the role.

Ashley Scott

Ashley Scott
AKA Ashley McCall Scott

Born: 13-Jul-1977
Birthplace: Metairie, LA
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Actor
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Dark Angel
Husband: Anthony Rhulen (producer, m. 2004)
Ashley McCall Scott is an American actress. She is known for her work on television and in film, including her roles in the television series Dark Angel, Birds of Prey, and Jericho.
Biography
Early life
Scott was born in Metairie, Louisiana to Joe Scott, a nurse, and Andrea Meister, an administrative assistant. She was raised in Charleston, South Carolina as the middle child between two brothers.
Scott began her career as a young girl when she began modeling. While living in Charleston she entered a Millie Lewis Talent Competition. Though she forgot her TV commercial, she was so good on her recovery, that she won her division. After Millie Lewis and her sophomore year of high school, Scott went to New York at the age of fifteen to pursue her modeling career. She traveled, trying different markets and eventually became a model for Elite Miami. She settled in Miami, was an active catalogue model and a Giorgio Red spokesmodel. As a young woman, she modeled internationally and graced the runways at fashion shows in Miami, Paris and London. She has appeared on the cover of the prestigious Hollywood Reporter and has been tracked by photographers from such publications as Women's Wear Daily, US Weekly and Cosmo Girl.
Career
Scott decided to give acting a go and one of her first auditions was with Al Pacino (for the film S1m0ne). When asked how she felt about the audition she said, "I'm dyslexic, so I was more frightened about reading in front of someone whether it be Al Pacino or, you know, anybody. I was more paranoid about that, but, you know, it was cool. It was just like sitting down with regular old people. But he's pretty magical. He's pretty spectacular." She did not win the role, but her audition tape for the Al Pacino film landed in the offices of Dreamworks. She was then cast in another film that led to her first significant big screen credit, a few seconds as Gigolo Jane in the feature film AI: Artificial Intelligence in which she shared screen time with Jude Law's Gigolo Joe character.
In 2001, Scott also broke into television when she was cast as Asha Barlow in the second season of Fox's hit science fiction series Dark Angel. This role was her first major acting role. Her character was an ally to cyber journalist Logan Cale (played by Michael Weatherly) and part of a group formed to expose government corruption. The Dark Angel staff liked her enough to try to revise the formerly bookish character to fit Ashley's personality and they also quickly promoted her from a guest star to a regular cast member.
In February 2002, while still featured in her recurring role on Dark Angel, it was announced that Scott was cast as Helena Kyle, better known as the superhero called the Huntress in the pilot episode of a possible upcoming WB series about post-Batman Gotham City and a trio of female crime fighters known as the Birds of Prey (loosely based on the DC comic of the same name).
Scott did do most of her own stunt work for this pilot episode. She has been quoted as saying "I want to do as much as I can, legally as much as I can. I like to get my hands dirty, so, yeah, hopefully back handsprings will come." She studied Taekwondo and gymnastics with a Trainer in preparation for the role of Huntress. Filming the pilot cut short Scott's time on Dark Angel, but it turned out that Dark Angel would not be returning in the fall. She gained a few fans as Huntress in the WB's Birds of Prey in the fall of 2002, but that show had a short run and ended mid-season. Ashley followed her work on Birds of Prey with feature films appearances in such films as S.W.A.T, Trespassing, Walking Tall, and Into the Blue.
Scott was originally cast in the pilot of the NBC Matt LeBlanc sitcom Joey in 2004, but she was replaced by Andrea Anders. She has a minor role in the picture 2005 film Just Friends, as a nurse. Scott currently stars as Emily Sullivan on the CBS post-apocalyptic drama Jericho.
Personal life
Her phoenix tattoo on her lower back with the Chinese ideographs for ‘strength, destiny, love and courage’. Without commenting in depth, Scott said she went through a ‘life-changing experience a while back,’ and the phoenix ‘rising out of the ashes’ is an important symbol.
When not working, she enjoys horseback riding, cooking and hanging out with her friends. She loves the McRib (from McDonalds). Her favorite comic book hero is The Incredible Hulk. She enjoys fishing, specifically 'flounder giggin'
Scott resides in Los Angeles and is married to producer Anthony Scott Rhulen. They seemed had split but no confirmation about it yet.
She was the last person to visit Paris Hilton in jail.
From a recent interview:
‘I have two dogs: Pork Chop the pug and Ozzy the chihuahua. We have two tortoises, a chameleon named Morty and a bearded dragon named Spike. Our house is like a zoo.’ she said in a recent interview. She had a tongue ring (She removed it a few years ago) and has two tattoos, one on her lower back and another of her husband's initials on the back of her neck.

Sheedy, who is Jewish, attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City, graduating in 1980. She started dancing with the American Ballet Theatre at the age of six, and was planning on making it a full-time career. However, she became anorexic and after she developed breasts, she gave up dance in favor of acting full-time. At twelve years old, she wrote a children's book, She Was Nice to Mice; the book was published by McGraw-Hill and became a best-seller. On June 19, 1975 she appeared on the game show To Tell the Truth in her role as young writer. That same year, her mother brought suit against the owners of Zabar's delicatessen for failing to protect her from an attempted sexual assault.
Career
Sheedy started acting in local stage productions as a teenager. After appearing in several made-for-television films in 1981, as well as three episodes of the television series Hill Street Blues, she made her feature film debut in Bad Boys (1983), starring Sean Penn. Throughout most of the 1990s, Sheedy appeared in many television films. 1998's High Art, a well-reviewed independent film about a romance between two women, was an important film in her career. She identified with the character of photographer "Lucy Berliner" so much that she took a plane at her own expense to participate in an audition and has said that this character is the closest one she has played to herself.
In 1999, Sheedy took over the lead role in the off-Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She was the first female to play the part of the German transsexual "Hedwig". Her run was terminated early amid bad reviews.
She was reunited with Breakfast Club co-star Anthony Michael Hall when she became a special guest star on his television show The Dead Zone, in the second-season episode "Playing God" (2003) where Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) is reunited with two close friends from high school, one of whom is awaiting a heart transplant and the other (Ally Sheedy) is the donor.
Sheedy has also appeared in an episode of C.S.I. in which she played a woman who murdered her boyfriend's wife while mixed up in an estranged cult. (Leaping Lizards).
Personal life
In 1985 Sheedy was admitted to Hazelden. In the 1990s, Sheedy was treated for sleeping pill addiction, an experience on which she drew for her role as a drug-addicted photographer in High Art.
Sheedy is married to actor David Lansbury, the nephew of actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury, the producer of the original production of Godspell. The couple have a daughter, Rebecca, born in 1994.

Rodríguez was born in San Antonio, Texas to Carmen Milady (née Pared), a native of the Dominican Republic, and Rafael Rodríguez, a Puerto Rican who served in the military. She has a total of ten half-siblings or siblings. She was raised by her devoutly religious maternal grandmother and was brought up in her mother's Jehovah's Witnesses religion. Rodríguez moved to the Dominican Republic with her mother when she was eight and lived in Puerto Rico when she was 11, later settling in Jersey City, New Jersey. She dropped out of high school at age 17 and later earned her GED.
Career
Rodríguez won her first role, in the low-budget independent film, Girlfight (2000), after attending her first audition, having run across an ad for an open casting call. She beat 350 other applicants for the starring part of Diana Guzman, a troubled teen who decides to channel her aggression by training to become a boxer. Rodríguez's performance was recognized by both critics and audiences. Despite major industry buzz of a possible Academy Award nomination, she did not receive the Oscar nom. Rodríguez did however accumulate several other significant awards and nominations for the role in independent circles, including major acting accolades from the National Board of Review, Deauville Film Festival, Independent Spirit Awards, Gotham Awards, Las Vegas Film Ciritics Sierra Awards and many others and the film itself took home top prizes at both the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals.
Subsequently, she has had notable roles in other successful movies, including S.W.A.T., The Fast and the Furious and Resident Evil. In 2002, she was ranked #77 in Stuff magazine’s “102 Sexiest Women In The World”, and #34 in Maxim’s "100 Sexiest Women". 2002 also saw her play Eden in the surfer girlpower flick Blue Crush.
In 2004, Rodríguez gave her voice to the hit video game "Halo 2", playing one of the Marines. She also currently provides the voice of Liz Ricarro in the Cartoon Network series IGPX. From 2005 to 2006, she played tough cop Ana Lucia Cortez on the television series Lost during the show's second season (the character's first appearance was a flashback on season 1's finale, Exodus: Part 1).
Rodríguez recently starred in the horror movie The Breed, and has more recently been featured in her own episode of G4's show Icons. Battle in Seattle, her latest film, is due for release in December 2007, and it has recently been announced that she will costar in James Cameron's upcoming scifi adventure Avatar.
Personal life
In early 2000, Rodríguez broke off a near engagement to a Muslim boyfriend, citing opposition to religious requirements he demanded of her, which included covering herself completely. In 2001, Rodríguez then dated The Fast and the Furious co-star, Vin Diesel. In 2006, she expressed a romantic interest in Irish actor, Colin Farrell. In July 2006, Rodriguez told UK's Cosmopolitan magazine that she was not gay, but had "experimented with both sexes". In November of 2006, her openly bisexual Bloodrayne co-star Kristanna Loken's comments to The Advocate were widely interpreted and reported by the media as an admission that the two were in a relationship. Asked about the relationship in April 2007, Kristanna Loken said, "We're great friends. She'll always remain a great, close friend of mine. I'll always love Michelle."
Most recently, Rodriguez was linked by newspapers to Kylie Minogue's ex Olivier Martinez after the two were seen dining at Chateau Marmont. Eye witnesses claim Rodriguez spent the night at his hotel room. The two have been spotted together several times over the course of the last 4 years, this being the most recent.
Curve magazine 'outing'
In June 2007 Curve ran a cover widely considered to be trailing an interview in which Rodriguez would out herself. In response to this, Rodríguez used her blog to deny lesbian rumors and accused the magazine of attempting to "out" her. On her official website she said the following:
As far as rumors go of me coming out, I guess curve magazine took it upon themselves to out me on the premise of their own suspicions. Whatever, I'm not insulted, I have a big lesbian following, and for whatever reasons they show me love I'm never going to shun, disrespect or neglect anybody who shows me genuine non-psychotic Love. But I will Say this, to put words in someone's mouth and place people in categories affects them for sure, especially in this business. I don't know what the intent behind the curve magazine cover was. I wasn't informed of it, I had no Idea they were planning on using my image to sell magazines. By the way I only got kicked out of five schools not six...
Look, I guess what I'm trying to say ultimately is that, if I wanted people to know what I do with my Vagina I would have released A sex video a long time ago. Yet i haven't done that. You know why? Because extremists can rarely be mediators, mass communicators, or chameleons for that matter. I have bin an extremist in my personal life, Yes. Yet I have never really over stepped the boundaries consciously in the public eye. I have really focused on specific types of films for that very reason, I don't need to be limited by judgmental labels, especially in a society ruled mostly by an MTV A.D.D. mentality. See, I even labeled, It's almost second nature to the generation Y culture, and what about the popular culture groups that buy up all the US Weekly's, In Touch's, Hello's And the readers of sites like Perez Hilton.com.
If I were Ellen I may get away with: ' The I'm Gay' level of exposure, but I'm not a comedian, I like men; (real ones anyway) and I've only been in this business for 7 years, not 20. Years of recognition can give a person lots of leverage especially if you have many years of positive recognition under your belt. There are certain things that can close doors between a celebrity and certain audiences. Especially in a world where walls are constantly being put up by people seeking comfort and groups to belong to. There is so much out there, over-saturation of music, media, Agenda News, war, political drama, high school prom drama, image drama, religion drama, Bully drama. All this drama is caused by one thing, not understanding the true meaning of communication and the real power behind it. It's tough to learn, I'm working on it myself, but when people come out of nowhere and put words in my mouth or call me Gay, they should really think for one second How they could truly affect my life by doing such things. You don't know what producer, director, would be husband or future audience member may be influenced by these opinions and media content.
Asked about the Curve issue, she told E Online,
"People are gonna say what they say. It’s like Eminem...I am whatever you say I am. Free press...it’s all good—the more, the merrier. Just as long as it doesn’t mess up my flow if I ever want some shows, ya know? That would suck”.
In the July/August 2007 issue of Curve, editors responded to this criticism by stating:
"If you read the article, you will see that the author did not, in fact, 'out' Rodríguez; rather, the article stated both that 'Rodríguez has never publicly come out' and 'Rodríguez has said she is not a lesbian."
The editors stated that the misunderstanding arose when Perez Hilton posted in his blog that she had come out in Curve after seeing her on the cover and assuming it was a coming out story. The Curve website did describe her as a 'bi bad girl' on the cover initially, but later removed their 'bi' label in reprints. Rodriguez has never denied being bisexual.
Legal troubles
In March 2002, Rodríguez was arrested for assault after getting into a fight with her roommate. The charges were later dropped after the roommate declined to press the allegations in court.
In November 2003, Rodriguez went to court to face eight misdemeanor charges based on two driving incidents including a hit and run and DUI. In June 2004, Rodríguez pleaded no contest in Los Angeles to three of the charges: hit and run, drunken driving, and driving with a suspended license. She went to jail for 48 hours, performed community service at the morgues of two New York hospitals, completed a three-month alcohol program, and was placed on probation for three years.
In 2005, while filming Lost in Hawaii, Rodríguez was pulled over by Honolulu police multiple times; she was cited for driving 83 mph in a 55 mph zone on Oahu on Nov. 1 and was fined $357, paid a $300 fine for driving 90 mph in a 35 mph zone on Oct. 20, was fined $197 for going 80 mph in a 50 mph zone on August 24. On December 1, 2005, Rodríguez and her Lost co-star, Cynthia Watros were separately pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence. Rodríguez pleaded not guilty when arraigned, but on the day of her trial in April 2006, she pleaded guilty to one charge of driving under the influence. She chose to pay a $500 fine and spend five days in jail instead of doing 240 hours of community service. Rodríguez cited her high doses of allergy-relieving steroids as part of the reason for her erratic behaviour. The fact that her and Watros' characters were killed off (appropriately enough, in an episode titled Two for the Road) led some fans to believe that it was a result of the arrests, however Rodriguez and producers said their exit from the show had been planned before the season began and the arrests were just coincidental. Her hiatus from movie roles from 2003 to 2007 also led fans to believe she was being temporarily blacklisted for her legal troubles.
Because the Kailua incident was a violation of her Los Angeles probation, Rodríguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail, a 30 day alcohol rehabilitation program and another 30 days of community service, including work for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, by a judge in Los Angeles on May 1, 2006. Because of overcrowding, she was released from jail on the same day she entered it. As of June 2006, she will still have to serve the community service. She wrote about the experience on her blog. 2007
In September 2007 however, Rodriguez allegedly violated her probation by not completing her community service and not following an alcohol education program. It was reported that Rodriguez originally submitted a document stating she performed community service on September 25, 2006, but later admitted she was actually in New York City that day. Her lawyer claimed it was a clerical error. She was also found to have consumed alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, in violation of a probation requirement she refrain from drinking for 90 days.On October 12, 2007, following her hearing, she was sentenced to 180 days jail time after admitting to violating her probation, stemming from those charges. The Judge in the case ordered that Rodriguez not be granted a work furlough, early release or home confinement and must remain in jail for the entire 180 days.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson
AKA Jessica Ann Simpson

Born: 10-Jul-1980
Birthplace: Abilene, TX
Gender: Female
Religion: Baptist
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Singer
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: MTV Newlyweds
Father: Joe Simpson (psychologist/minister)
Mother: Tina Drew
Sister: Ashlee Simpson (actress)
Husband: Nick Lachey (musician, m. 26-Oct-2002, div. 30-Jun-2006)
Boyfriend: John Mayer (musician, dated 2007)
1999 saw the arrival of pop princesses Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who each received multi-platinum certificates. Simpson's label hoped for the same with her. As 1999 came to a close, Simpson released her first single, "I Wanna Love You Forever," which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Soon afterward her album Sweet Kisses was released. Simpson toured with boy band 98 Degrees to promote her new album. She was given a role in the music video for 98 Degrees' hit song "My Everything," playing Nick Lachey's love interest. At that time she and Lachey began dating. After dating for two years the couple cooled their relationship, stating that the "break" allowed them to concentrate on their music careers. Then on September 11, 2001, Lachey was supposed to be flying out of New York City with his group 98 Degrees. When Simpson heard of the attacks on the nation coming from the airport she immediately phoned Lachey to learn his whereabouts. After this scare the couple rekindled the relationship.
Meanwhile, Simpson's album Sweet Kisses had gone double platinum thanks to the success of her follow-up singles "Where You Are", 1999, and "I Think I'm In Love With You, 2001." The latter became Simpson's biggest radio hit at that point and was her first release of an uptempo single. But although her debut album sold 2 million copies, sales fell far short of those achieved by Spears and Aguilera, and unlike the two pop princesses, Simpson was not a worldwide household name. Columbia Records officials reportedly decided Simpson needed a change for her second album.
In 2001, Simpson recorded a follow-up album with what Columbia considered more radio-friendly, up-tempo tracks; the studio also encouraged her to lose weight in order to fit in with her competitors. The result in that was Irresistible, released in mid-2001 on the heels of the title-track first single. The new sound and image helped make "Irresistible" one of the biggest hits of her career; it peaked at # 15 on the Hot 100. "Irresistible" debuted at # 6 in June 2001 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, and has sold 825,000 copies to date.
2002: Marriage to Nick Lachey and TV success
During the summer of 2003, the reality show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, starring Simpson and her new husband Nick Lachey began airing on MTV. Simpson's third album, In This Skin, was released in August of 2003 to coincide with the series premiere of Newlyweds.
The show quickly became a pop culture phenomenon and is credited with making her a household name, even among those who did not follow pop music or MTV. “I never knew that just doing the show would give me that pedestal to step on,” Simpson told Blender magazine in a March 2004 feature.
On May 30, 2004, Simpson was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Indianapolis 500.
Later that summer, Simpson won three Teen Choice Awards: Female Fashion Icon, Choice Hottie Female, and Female Reality/Variety TV Star for Newlyweds.
Throughout the run of four seasons, Simpson epitomized the stereotypical dumb blonde, most notably when she asked Lachey whether the Chicken of the Sea tuna she was eating was in fact chicken or fish. She also indicated that she believed that buffalo wings were made from actual buffalo. She thought that platypus was pronounced as platymapus and then wondered whether the correct pronunciation was always platypus or platymapus as well. Her Hollywood brat behavior helped turn the show into a huge hit, with an average rating of roughly 1.4 million viewers, while reaching a series peak of approximately 4 million viewers.
The associated album, In This Skin, debuted at # 10 on The Billboard 200 album chart, with sales of 64,000 in its first week. It rebounded after a special collectors' edition was released in April 2004 and subsequently reached a peak of # 2. It was eventually certified quadruple platinum. It contained the hits "With You" (# 14, 2004) and a cover of the Berlin song "Take My Breath Away" (# 20, 2004), and a lesser hit, a cover of the Robbie Williams song "Angels", which charted just outside the Billboard Hot 100.
The couple starred in the television special The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour, which aired in 2004 and was compared to the Sonny and Cher show. Simpson released ReJoyce: The Christmas Album in late 2004, which peaked at # 14 on the album chart and was later certified gold.
In 2005, Newlyweds won a People's Choice Award for Favorite Reality Show before wrapping shortly after.
Move to film
In the summer of 2005, at age 25, Simpson made her first appearance in a motion picture as Daisy Duke in the movie remake of The Dukes of Hazzard. The film was #1 at the box office its opening weekend, although it had little or no competition (the only other new film opening that weekend was a low-budget independent film), and grossed $30.7 million on 3,785 screens. It also had an adjusted-dollar rank of #14 all-time for August releases. The film eventually collected $110.5 million world-wide, although it was much less financially successful outside the U.S.
Simpson also appeared on the film's soundtrack, releasing "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'", a cover of the 1966 Nancy Sinatra hit. The song peaked at # 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a People's Choice Award for Favorite Song from a Movie in 2006. The song's video featured Simpson as Daisy Duke. It contains scenes of her flirting and singing in a bar and then later washing her car in a pink string bikini. In some countries the video was banned for its overtly sexual content.
Simpson's second film, Employee of the Month, was released October 6, 2006. Despite poor reviews, the film took in nearly $12 million in its opening weekend, debuting at #4 just behind "Open Season." The movie was made on a $12 million budget, and it finished with a little over $28 million in the United States.
Simpson's third film, Blonde Ambition, is set to be released in 2008. Filming for the movie "The Witness", a spy comedy, had been scheduled for the same time but has been postponed.
2006-2007: Music and movies
November 2005 brought confirmation of rumors that Simpson and Lachey were breaking up. On June 30, 2006, their divorce was finalized. Simpson hosted the Teen Choice Awards in August 2006, and appeared on The View in September 2006 as the first choice of new co-host Rosie O'Donnell.
Simpson then returned to the recording studio, switching labels from Columbia to Epic Records. Her fourth album, A Public Affair, was released on August 29, 2006 via Epic Records. The album debuted at # 5 on the Billboard 200 with 101,000 copies sold in its first week. The first single, "A Public Affair" (# 14, 2006), reached the Top 20 of the Hot 100 but quickly fell off the charts. The music video for "A Public Affair" featured Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Christina Milian, Maria Menounos, Andy Dick and Ryan Seacrest. A second single, "I Belong To Me," was also released through her website and is now included on the CD itself. The single's video appeared on TRL countdowns, but quickly fell off.
In December 2006, while performing a tribute to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Awards, she botched the lyrics, getting flustered in front of a crowd that included prominent persons such as Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and President George W. Bush). Afterward, during the final tribute to Parton, Parton's "biggest fan" Reese Witherspoon and her second cousin Jessica Savelli gave a tearful Simpson a comforting hug. Though Simpson was given the chance to redo the song for cameras, ultimately her portion was edited out of the CBS broadcast.
Luke Wilson co-starred with Simpson in her third film, Blonde Ambition, due out in 2008.
Simpson recently said she is due back in front of the cameras filming her next movie role in "The Witness." She also said she will be publishing a book containing selections from her personal journal and photographs, titled "Look Up To the Sky." Simpson has also been confirmed to be in studio recording with Eddie Galan and Drew Lane.
Jessica's father Joe Simpson stated to People Magazine on September 11, 2007 that Jessica is considering doing a country album. Joe told People that Jessica is "talking about doing a country record and going back to her roots, being from Texas."
Other projects
Following in the footsteps of other female musicians, such as Cher and Patti LaBelle, Simpson launched a line of hair and beauty products on the Home Shopping Network. Teaming with celebrity stylist Ken Paves and trained by HSN's first-ever home shopping host Bob Circosta, Simpson sells clip-in hair extensions over the air. Hairdo-brand Salon Clip-In Hair from Simpson and Ken Paves
Simpson has had many commercials, mainly with Pizza Hut and Proactiv Solution. She also has a commercial with Ice Breakers, along with her sister Ashlee. She has had up to three Pizza Hut commercials, the first in 2004, advertising the new Buffalo Wing Pizza (costarring The Muppets). In 2005, she started advertising Proactiv Solution, an over-the-counter acne medicine. In 2006, she premiered another Pizza Hut commercial for the Super Bowl broadcast. She sang "These Bites Are Made For Poppin'," in reference to the song "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'," to advertise the new Cheesy Bites Pizza. In 2007, the Super Bowl featured her third Pizza Hut commercial, which again promoted the Cheesy Bites Pizza. She has also advertised DirecTV in character as Daisy Duke.
Management
Jessica is managed by her father, Joe Truett Simpson, whose fee is reported to be between 10 percent and 20 percent of her income. He has distanced himself from his daughters' finances, however, and has no access to their bank accounts, which are under the supervision of their shared and longtime business manager, David Levin. Mr. Simpson said he wanted his children to see that "Daddy never touched their stuff. I wanted them to always look at me with respect."
Controversy
Simpson received criticism from a Christian group calling itself "The Resistance", for the sexualized image she used in the music video for "These Boots are Made for Walking". In response, Simpson stated, "It didn't really surprise me because I grew up with a lot of that backlash. That's why I didn't end up going into the Christian music industry. I think that if they're really good Christians the judgment wouldn't be there."
Personal life
Simpson attended Richardson, Texas public schools, including Richardson North Junior High and J.J. Pearce High School
On October 26, 2002, at age 22, Simpson married Nick Lachey, and confirmed that she had remained a virgin until her wedding night. Simpson was always vocal since she came into the spotlight that she was saving her virginity until marriage. In November 2005, after months of tabloid speculation, Simpson and Lachey announced they were separating. Simpson filed for divorce on December 16, 2005, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple's divorce was publicized worldwide and was reportedly finalized on June 30.
Simpson reportedly told Jane magazine in October 2006 that she knew her marriage to Lachey was over when he refused to join her on a charity trip to Africa, even though it was on their third wedding anniversary. Questions remain over whether the trip was to celebrate the anniversary, or a PR junket guided by her father/manager, who accompanied her on that day.
The couple reportedly sold their Calabasas mansion in which Newlyweds was filmed to Malcolm in the Middle star Justin Berfield for $3.75 million.
Simpson received increased publicity following her divorce, reportedly having romances with her Employee of the Month co-star Dane Cook and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. On February 6, 2007, the Associated Press reported that Simpson said she was stung when her ex-husband jumped back into dating after their high-profile breakup. "Oh, it hurt me," the 26-year-old singer-actress says in an interview in the March issue of Elle magazine. "Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me." Magazines have also speculated that she was jealous of her ex-husband's growing stardom and relationship with television personality Vanessa Minnillo, though she has publicly denied this.
Simpson dated John Mayer for over 9 months. Dating rumors started in August 2006 with a People magazine article, but kicked into high gear when Simpson and Mayer spent New Year's holiday together in New York City, both attending Christina Aguilera's New Years Eve 2006 party. Reports indicated that the two were publicly very affectionate. In the March 2007 issue of Elle, Simpson said that in her private life she is "begging and pleading for privacy," but the interviewer did notice emails, videos, and photos of Mayer on Simpson's laptop. The two were spotted kissing and hugging at a 2007 Grammy after-party, and posed for photos. Simpson also accompanied Mayer for several dates of his 2007 winter tour, before the two departed for Rome. Mayer and Simpson split in May of 2007. On August 17, 2007 Jessica announced that she had broken her nose while on the set of her new film Major Movie Star. She was running with a gun over her head and tripped and fell.

She was born in Barranquilla, Atlantico. Her mother is a homemaker and her father worked in business. "La Toti" was the nickname given to Vergara by her five brothers and sisters and many cousins, including television news anchor and reporter Carlos Vergara, who currently works for WTVJ in Miami, Florida. She grew up between her hometown of Barranquilla and was raised in a well-off family, attending a private bilingual (Spanish/English) school. She got married at the age of 18, and she gave birth to her son Manolo in 1991 at the age of 19. The marriage did not last very long, and then she studied dentistry at a college in Colombia for three years. Vergara now lives in Miami and Los Angeles, and brought her mother, sister, and her son to live with her. Her older brother was murdered in Colombia, a crime that is still unsolved.
Career
Vergara was discovered by a photographer while walking a Colombian beach. Soon, she was presented with attractive offers in modeling and TV work, and followed that course. Having been raised rather conservatively and devoutly religious, this was a bit overwhelming at first. In an article in Maxim Magazine in January of 2001, Vergara was described as "apprehensive about doing her first TV commercial—until her Catholic schoolteachers gave her permission to take the job". She made her first public appearance at the age of 17 in a Pepsi commercial that was widely telecast all over Latin America. In order to support her son, mother, and younger siblings who needed her financial support in the absence of her father, who had departed the family, she dropped out of college in order to earn good wages.
Vergara moved to Bogotá at the age of 20, where she worked as a model on the runway and on TV. From 1995 to 1999, she was co-host with Fernando Fiore on Fuera de Serie ("Out of the Ordinary" or "Over-the-Top"), a series which sent her to exotic places all over the world (this is similar to the U.S. Wild On! travel series). It was telecast on the international Univision Spanish-language network, and it made her a star in the Latin American market and gave her some USA TV exposure. She also co-hosted the Univision show A que no te atreves ("I Dare You"). She recently appeared as a guest star on the HBO series Entourage.
Besides runway and catalog modeling work, Vergara also did independent projects. She was photographed for posters swimsuit calendars in 1998, 2000, and 2002. These were top sellers in Latin America, and also penetrated the North American market. She did South American television ads, and also posed in swimsuits for posters for beer advertising, especially for Miller Lite beer.
Vergara is 170 cm (5 feet, 7 inches) tall, and she has naturally blonde/sunbleached hair (for films and TV, she is frequently required to dye it brunette to make her look more "Latina"). Vergara was long under an exclusive TV contract with Univision, and after it expired, she accepted a role with ABC in the United States. With ABC, she appeared on the sitcoms Hot Properties and The Knights of Prosperity. Vergara will play the role of Mary Alice Young in the Colombian version of Desperate Housewives.

Courtney Love

AKA Courtney Michelle Harrison

Born: 9-Jul-1964
Birthplace: San Francisco, CA
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Musician, Actor
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Kurt Cobain's one-time wife, Hole
Father: Hank Harrison (publisher; Grateful Dead groupie, b. 1940)
Mother: Linda Risi (psychologist)
Husband: James Moreland ("Falling James", musician, The Leaving Trains, m. 1989; div. 1989)
Husband: Kurt Cobain (musician, Nirvana m. 1992; died 1994)
Daughter: Frances Bean Cobain (b. 18-Aug-1992)
Boyfriend: Edward Norton (1996-98)
Boyfriend: Trent Reznor
Boyfriend: Billy Corgan
Courtney Love's parents divorced when she was 2, and her mother, a semi-famous psychologist, remarried twice. Love was Love's first name, but her mother had it changed to Courtney. Details of Love's early years remain publicly vague, as her answers to personal questions have varied wildly. It's generally acknowledged that her father was ordered by a court to have no contact with Love; that she spent time in a reform school for girls; and that she was emancipated from her mother at 16. After that, Love lived off a trust fund established by her maternal grandmother, and earned extra income as a stripper. Love was in Babes in Toyland and Faith No More, long before either band made it big. She started her own band, Hole, in 1989. Hole's early albums sold reasonably well, affording Love a low level of fame.
She met Nirvana's Kurt Cobain in 1989, got knocked up by him in 1991, and married him in 1992. Their shared addictions included alcohol, heroin, and painkillers. Love and Cobain had to battle Washington's Child Protective Services agency to keep their daughter when she was born, because Vanity Fair had reported Love used heroin while pregnant. His band eclipsed hers in fame, and both bands became much more popular after Cobain's suicide in 1994. Hole broke up in 2001, and Love announced a new "femme superstar" band, Bastard, which has apparently evaporated. She's now recording and touring solo.
She was in a messy lawsuit with Vivendi/Universal, her recording company, and Love and her lawyers effectively stifled release of a Kurt and Courtney, a 1998 documentary she deemed unflattering. Love lost custody of her daughter in 2003, after being charged with illegal possession of hydrocodone and oxycodone. Her rehabs and detoxes include a 2004 round at a Malibu clinic, where she reportedly danced naked for three hours before staff could convince her to get dressed.
While they were backstage at the Lollapalooza music festival in George, Washington, on 4 July 1995 Love flicked a cigarette at Bikini Kill vocalist Kathleen Hanna, pelted her with candy, and punched her in the face. Nine days later, Love described the incident in an AOL message board post, referring to Hanna as "Ratface":
I was speaking to Beckster...Eric comes up behind me "Give some candy to Ratface, she'll Flip!" He said I turned quickly and she was 2-3 feet from me smugly glaring-"BLECCCCHHHH" I screamed threw the candy in the air and at her, every witness there saw her attack me first, I do believe eventually my fist-ahhhhh-met her Rathead and it was orgasmic- too bad the security-oh yeah "MY" security? I'm Axl Rose now? We have a co-tour mgr. who was there...
I really wish these big guys wouldn't stop these fights that have been brewing for 5 years! I'd love the outcome! Hell I'd love an excellent fight with a total vile enemy of myself my family and the people such ass Ratface
Hanna pressed charges and Love ultimately plead guilty to assault later that September.
To her credit, Courtney Love has complained about the crookedness of the recording industry, where customers are lectured not to download music while artists get mere pennies -- if that -- for every $14.99 CD sold. In 2000 at the Digital Hollywood conference, she delivered a speech lamenting the state of the corrupt music industry, largely cribbed from The Problem With Music, a piece Steve Albini wrote for The Baffler.

Jessica Hahn is a model, actress, and former church secretary best known for her sex scandal with televangelist Jim Bakker.
According to Hahn, on the afternoon of December 6, 1980, when she was a 21 year-old church secretary, she was drugged and raped by Bakker and another preacher, John Wesley Fletcher, for "about 15 minutes." Later, she overheard Bakker comment to another PTL staffer "Did you get her too?"
Hahn burst into the media limelight following Bakker's announcement on March 19, 1987 that he was stepping down as head of PTL and Heritage USA, pending the imminent disclosure of the sexual encounter and that he would be replaced by televangelist Jerry Falwell. Investigative journalists and auditors hired by Falwell uncovered $265,000 in hush money paid to Hahn as well as serious financial irregularities that led to the collapse of the PTL empire and Bakker's conviction.
Hahn subsequently used the notoriety she had gained by appearing nude in several Playboy magazine pictorials and videos, and appeared in a variety of TV shows, including Married... with Children. She also gained notoriety from her relationship with comedian Sam Kinison, and appeared in his music video for "Wild Thing" in 1988. She often appears in person and as a call-in guest on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius satellite radio.

In 2003, she was ranked #80 in Stuff magazine's list of the 103 sexiest women. She is annually nominated for PETA's "World's Sexiest Vegetarian".
Biography
Early life
Fox is the youngest child of Montreal-born parents, and was raised on a narrow barrier island in Melbourne Beach, Florida. She describes herself as being overweight while growing up, with a prominent gap between her teeth. Over the years, she has had a variety of strange items stuck between her two front teeth, including a quarter, a half dollar, some crayons and some rocks. By her twenties, neither her wisdom teeth nor braces had appreciably helped, and Fox said "forget it."
After attending Melbourne High School for two years, she began a modeling career after winning a local contest. Subsequently she enrolled as a drama student at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, under the tutelage of actor William Hickey.
Career
After appearing in several minor films and TV series, including a 1993 episode of Law & Order, Fox entered the limelight in 1996 when she joined the hit NBC television series ER, as the no-nonsense vegetarian and lesbian medical intern Dr. Maggie Doyle (credited as "Jorjan Fox").
Playing up that fame, Fox appeared on the coming out episode of Ellen ("The Puppy Episode Part 2", 30 April 1997).
In 1999, she was cast as Secret Service Agent Gina Toscano on NBC's series The West Wing, where she starred for one season.
Fox has appeared in the films Velocity Trap, Food for the Heart and she also appeared briefly in Memento, playing Guy Pearce's wife.
In 2000, she became one of the characters of the CBS series CSI, in which she portrays a Las Vegas forensic scientist called Sara Sidle. She has announced that the show's current 2007-2008 season will be her last. On November 15 2007, the episode 'Goodbye and Good Luck', marked the final episode she would appear on CSI.
She is the co-founder of Honeypot Productions, an independent avant-garde theatre company in Los Angeles. The company has produced five original plays, four of them written by Fox. The fourth play, Lovely Stanley, is a comedic romp about the women's bowling circuit. Her friend and HoneyPot co-founder Heather Reid wrote Dear Bernard, which Fox helped produce.
Fox is also a musician: she plays guitar (badly, she says) and recently purchased a drum kit. She also sings and writes songs, most notably the song "Lullabye" for the movie Traveling Companion, as well as the song "Satellite" which she published on her official web site. Jorja and CSI co-star Marg Helgenberger sang "Stand by Me" as a duet for What a Pair 4!!, an annual charity event to raise money for breast cancer research.
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her dog Ali and two cats, Rumplestiltskin and Sid Poitier.
Activism
Fox is a supporter of the Human Rights Campaign and—being a dedicated vegetarian since the age of 20—has worked with PETA to help promote vegetarianism.
Controversy
She and CSI co-star George Eads received some bad publicity in 2004 when they were fired. Fox had allegedly failed to submit a letter to CBS confirming that she would be on time for shooting. The disputes were resolved in just over a week, and the two were rehired by CBS; however, neither actor's salary was raised, although other cast members did receive raises. It was also reported that of the two, Fox was approached first to resume her contract with CSI - but she refused until Eads was rehired as well.
On April 18, 2007, TV Guide began reporting that Fox may not be returning for the eighth season of CSI, having not yet signed a new contract. The season finale turned out to be a cliffhanger involving her character, Sara Sidle. The New York Post reported that Fox did not show up to film the finale because of ongoing issues over her employment. Neither CBS nor Jorja's agent have confirmed the allegations.
In September 2007, after rumors emerged about Fox's departure from the show, an online forum called "Your Tax Dollars At Work", that has about 15,000 members, started a campaign to keep Sara Sidle on CSI, the campaign (called Dollars for Sense) includes mailing the show's producers a dollar so as to keep Fox on the show. With the help of donations, the campaign also organized plane flyovers, on Tuesdays and Thursdays of October's two first weeks, over the Universal Studios, in California, where CSI is filmed. The banners read"Keep Jorja Fox on CBS".
On October 15, 2007, Fox told Entertainment Weekly that she left CSI, saying that she wanted a break "from the commitment of a weekly television series."
As per the request of Fox, the money collected during the "Dollars for Sense" campaign will be donated to National CASA, an organization dedicated to aiding foster children.

Hunter Tylo

Hunter Tylo
AKA Deborah Jo Hunter

Born: 3-Jul-1962
Birthplace: Ft. Worth, TX
Gender: Female
Religion: Born-Again Christian
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Actor, Model
Nationality: United States

Son: Michael Tylo, Jr. (b. 24-Apr-1988, d. 18-Oct-2007 accidental drowning)
Daughter: Izabella Gabrielle Tylo (b. 12-Nov-1996)
Daughter: Katya Ariel Tylo (b. 15-Jan-1998)
Tylo was born Deborah Jo Hunter in Fort Worth, Texas, daughter of Jo Anne and Morris Jabez Hunter. She has Cherokee ancestry. She has been credited as Deborah Morehart; Morehart was the last name of her first husband.
Career
Tylo made her career acting on soap operas. She debuted on All My Children as pickpocket Robin McCall in 1985. She met her future husband Michael Tylo on the set; she played his love interest. She left the show in 1987 and married Michael that same year. She insisted that her husband leave his storyline on All My Children, lest she divorce him, as she perceived that series co-star Taylor Miller, who played Tylo's love interest at the time, to be coming on to him in real life; she makes the accusation in her autobiography Making a Miracle. She played Marina Toscano on Days of Our Lives from 1989 to 1990, only to be fired after fans hated that her character broke up Steve/Patch Johnson and Kayla Brady. While Tylo claims to have never gotten any negative mail while on the show, soap opera magazines at the time were full of anger and calls to get rid of her character and put Steve and Kayla back together again.
Tylo joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful, playing Dr. Taylor Hayes, in 1990. When the time came once again, contract talks between Tylo and B&B failed to compromise on a new contract in late 2001. The actress and the show parted ways and a recast was underway when the show made a last ditch effort to get Tylo back. In the end, Tylo signed another year-long contract until September 2002, when she was informed of her dismissal. According to various interviews given to the soap press, Bradley Bell thought the character was "played-out" and had nowhere else to go in terms of storyline. Her character was supposedly killed off by the vengeful Sheila Carter (played by Kimberlin Brown) in October; she returned to the show in 2004 for a two-episode appearance as a vision. In May 2005, she returned as a series regular when it was revealed that Taylor hadn't been killed but rather had been kidnapped by her former "husband" Prince Omar while Taylor was in a deep coma. Since then, Tylo has been involved in two major frontburner stories; Taylor's accidental killing of Darla in July 2006 and Taylor's romance with Nick which resulted in marriage May 2007.
Melrose Place Controversy
In 1996, Aaron Spelling fired Tylo from his series Melrose Place when he found out that she was pregnant. Tylo left The Bold and the Beautiful due to the contract that she had signed with Melrose Place and was fired by Spelling before she could film any episodes. Her character Taylor McBride was recast and ultimately played by actress Lisa Rinna. Tylo quickly returned to B&B and another contract was signed.
Tylo eventually sued on the grounds that she was being discriminated against, and she won nearly five million dollars. One of the more infamous parts of the trial included a svelte Hunter wearing revealing, "sexy" clothing and then telling the jury that she was eight months pregnant with her third child.

Tylo splits her time between her family home in Nevada and Los Angeles, California, where The Bold and the Beautiful is taped four days a week.
In 1994, Tylo's husband left her when he found out that she was having an affair with an Indian crew member whom she had met on the set of her miniseries The Maharaja's Daughter. She then had an epiphany in which she realized that Christianity was, in her words, "the one true faith." She became a born-again Christian. Tylo says in her autobiography that she and Kimberlin Brown had a major falling-out, which resulted in Brown testifying against her when her marriage to Michael Tylo had hit a rough spot; he filed for custody of their two boys and Brown testified that Hunter was an unfit parent. Before this messy incident, Hunter recounts, she and Brown were best friends. In November 2005, Tylo announced that she and Michael were getting a divorce after eighteen years of marriage.
Hunter had four children, two boys and two girls (her first child, Christopher, was the product of her first marriage; the last three are Hunter's with Michael Tylo). Her youngest child, Katya, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma and was forced to have an eye removed; it was subsequently replaced with a prosthetic intraocular implant. She started a charity "Hunter's Chosen Child" to raise awareness for retinoblastoma, in addition to Retinoblastoma International.
On October 18, 2007, Tylo's 19-year old son, Michael Tylo Jr., drowned in the family pool in Henderson, Nevada. The Clark County Coronor concluded that "the cause of death was drowning due to seizure disorder", and was ruled accidental.

Michelle Branch

July 02, 2008
Michelle Branch
AKA Michelle Jaquet DeSevren Branch

Born: 2-Jul-1983
Birthplace: Phoenix, AZ
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: Multiracial
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Singer/Songwriter
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Are You Happy Now?
Brother: David (b. 11-Mar-1979)
Sister: Nicole (b. 1987)
Husband: Teddy Landau (bassist, m. 23-May-2004, one daughter)
Daughter: Owen Isabelle Landau (b. 3-Aug-2005)
Branch was born seven weeks premature in Flagstaff, Arizona on July 2 1983 , and was named after the Beatles' song "Michelle". Her father is of Irish ancestry while her Eurasian mother was born in the Netherlands; her maternal grandmother was from East Java and was held in a Japanese internment camp during World War II, while her maternal grandfather was Dutch. She has an older half-brother, David, and a younger sister, Nicole.
Branch started taking voice lessons at a local university when she was 8 years old. She received a guitar for her fourteenth birthday from her uncle. She locked herself in her room and taught herself chords; within a few days she had composed her first song. She focused on the arts during high school, and was writing songs extensively. She attended Sedona Red Rock High School in Sedona but with the support of her parents, decided to continue her high school education through homeschooling, which allowed her to follow her dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter. She had begged her parents to allow her to leave regular high school, and one night at dinner she asked why she had to go back to school, and to her surprise, her father replied with, "Yeah, why does she?" She played clubs for years and released her debut album Broken Bracelet independently in 2000.
She signed a record deal with Madonna's record company Maverick while opening for Hanson in December 2000. Her first album under Maverick, The Spirit Room, was released in August 2001 and went on to sell over one million copies in the U.S. The single "Everywhere" became a worldwide top-twenty hit, and was followed by the U.S. top-ten hit "All You Wanted" and the top-forty single "Goodbye to You". Branch was frequently compared (both positively and negatively) to other singer-songwriters like Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, and Vanessa Carlton who rose to prominence at around the same time as she. In 2002 Branch was the lead vocalist on Carlos Santana's song "The Game of Love", which became her first single to reach the U.S. top five; it went on to win a Grammy Award for "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals".
In 2003, she released her second full-length album, Hotel Paper, which became her second RIAA-certified platinum album but was met with mixed reviews. The lead single "Are You Happy Now?" became another top-twenty hit for Branch in the U.S., but follow-up singles "Breathe" and "'Til I Get over You" failed to achieve substantial success. In June 2004 she hosted MTV's Faking the Video alongside Nick Lachey and JC Chasez.
Branch married her tour band's bass player, Teddy Landau, who is 19 years her senior, in Mexico on May 23, 2004. On August 3, 2005, Branch gave birth to a 7lb. 12oz. (3.5 kg) baby girl named Owen Isabelle.
In July 2005 Branch announced the completion of an album with country singer Jessica Harp. The longtime friends and collaborators were dubbed "The Homewreckers" as a joke by Branch's husband, and they shortened it to The Wreckers. The album combined Branch's pop-rock sensibility with Harp's country-folk style. The album was originally due for release in June 2005 but was delayed because of promotional reasons surrounding Branch's pregnancy.
One of the songs Branch co-wrote with Harp for the album was featured on the original soundtrack to the WB television teen drama One Tree Hill. Branch and Harp made a brief appearance as themselves on One Tree Hill, and then went on a month-long concert tour with Gavin DeGraw and One Tree Hill stars Tyler Hilton and Bethany Joy Lenz. Branch has sung on the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer (in the episode "Tabula Rasa") and Charmed (in the episode "Centennial Charmed").
Branch closed down the message boards for The Wreckers' official website in December 2005 after being displeased by comments posted there. The Wreckers' first single, "Leave the Pieces", was released in February 2006; the album Stand Still, Look Pretty was released that May. During this period, they joined country music stars Rascal Flatts and Gary Allan on a sold out U.S. tour.
Branch has written songs for other artists, including one for Mandy Moore's 2007 album Wild Hope. As of 2006, her biggest hits ("Everywhere", "All You Wanted", and "Are You Happy Now?") continue to be played in recurrent rotation on CHR and Hot AC radio stations.
In December 2006, the Wreckers were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for the song "Leave the Pieces".

Tisdale originally tried out for Gabriella Montez, but was cast as Sharpay Evans, due to her alto voice, she suited a darker character. The role required her to perform several songs, including "What I've Been Looking For," "Bop to the Top," and "We're All in This Together." All three managed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, Tisdale made music history by being the first female artist to ever debut with two songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 with "What I've Been Looking For" and "Bop to the Top." She has also recorded versions of the songs "Some Day My Prince Will Come" and "Kiss The Girl" (including a music video) for Disney. Tisdale told JustJared.com during an interview at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards that she will be filming a movie in August. No other information has been given since she stated she's superstitious.

More famously, she and Lee frolicked in a home movie that was released against Anderson's will as Pam & Tommy Lee: Stolen Honeymoon. It was the best-selling adult video of 1998. Later, a second Lee-Anderson video surfaced, also against Anderson's desires, and in a third explicit video she co-starred with rocker Bret Michaels.
She had breast implants installed, then removed several years later. She is a public spokeswoman for PETA, and has a cruelty-free clothing line. She is a natural brunette, and has never yet been nominated for an Emmy. As of 2004, she has appeared on the cover of Playboy 11 times.

Liv Tyler

July 01, 2008
Linda Cardellini
Born: 1-Jul-1977
Birthplace: Portland, ME
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Actor
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Daughter of Aerosmith frontman
Father: Steven Tyler (lead singer of Aerosmith)
Mother: Bebe Buell (model and Playboy playmate)
Father: Todd Rundgren (growing up Liv thought this was her father)
Sister: Mia Tyler (half sister, model)
Husband: Royston Langdon (b. 1-May-1972, m. 25-Mar-2003, ex-member of Spacehog)
Son: Milo Langdon (b. 14-Dec-2004)
Liv is the first born daughter of Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, and Bebe Buell, a model and singer. However, at birth Buell claimed that rock star Todd Rundgren was her biological father. She spent most of her childhood living with that understanding. Liv only discovered her true parentage at age 9, after meeting Tyler at a Rundgren concert in Boston. Then at another meeting in 1988, noticing that Tyler's other daughter, Mia, looked very similar to herself, she asked her mother point blank. The truth about her paternity however did not become public until 1991. She then changed her name from Rundgren to Tyler, but kept the former as a middle name. Buell's reason for the initial decision was that Tyler was too heavily addicted to drugs at that time.
Liv's father was also rumored to be Ritchie Blackmore, guitarist of Deep Purple and Rainbow. The rumor was started by Elissa Perry, the wife of Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, who apparently wanted to put doubt into Tyler's mind that he might be the father. Tyler has since denounced the fabricated story as a lie on VH1's Behind The Music devoted to Aerosmith.
In 1979-80, when Liv was two and three years old, Buell was romantically involved with Stiv Bators. Bators lived with Liv and her mother in Portland, Maine, for a portion of the period when Buell kept a house in the area.
Liv attended the Congressional School of Virginia, Breakwater Elementary School and Waynflete School before returning to New York City with her mother at the age of 12. She went to York Prep in NYC for Junior High and High School, graduating in 1995. One month later Liv set off for Italy, to star in Stealing Beauty.
Career
After starting a career as a model (with a height of 5' 10"), she quickly moved into acting. She first became known to TV audiences when she starred alongside Alicia Silverstone in the music video for the Aerosmith song, Crazy, in 1993. The decision to cast her was based on the video's creators having seen her in a Pantene commercial, with absolutely no knowledge that her father was in the band.
Later, she was cast almost simultaneously for Silent Fall and Heavy; the filming of Heavy was delayed until she became available. By the age of 20, she had already starred in several successful movies, including Stealing Beauty, That Thing You Do! and Inventing the Abbotts.
Her appearance in Armageddon, which was released on her 21st birthday, brought her to the attention of a very wide public. This film incidentally included the song, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", by her father's band. However, she has proven herself capable of more sophisticated acting challenges such as Onegin, based on the 19th century Russian novel by Alexander Pushkin), in which she convincingly portrayed the character of Tatyana Larina. She also appeared in two movies directed by Robert Altman, Cookie's Fortune and Dr. T & the Women.
Her most successful role came in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, in which she played Arwen Undómiel. In 2007 she was chosen to star alongside Edward Norton in the upcoming Incredible Hulk trilogy.
Tyler was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World in 1997. She was also voted the 6th Sexiest Female Movie Star in the Australian Empire Magazine in September 2002, and #2 in TheAge.com's "Top 100: Natural Beauties of all time" in 2004.
Personal life
On March 25, 2003, Liv married British musician Royston Langdon of the band Spacehog. On December 14, 2004, she gave birth to a son, Milo William Langdon, in a New York hospital. Liv now spends a large amount of her time in Leeds.
Liv's ancestry is a combination of German on her mother's side, and Italian, Russian and Cherokee Indian on her father's side. Liv's mother named her after Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann.
Liv dated actor Joaquin Phoenix from 1995 to November 1998. The couple met on the set of Inventing the Abbotts.
The Lemonheads' song, C'mon Daddy, is written about the relationship between Liv and her father. Lemonheads singer, Evan Dando, played a major supporting role in James Mangold's film, Heavy, in which Liv starred.
