AKA Emily Irene Sander
Born: February 26, 1989
Location: Olathe, Kansas
Date of death November 24, 2007 (aged 18)
Height 5 feet 3 inches
Weight 105 lbs.
Eye colour Blue
Hair colour Brunette
Emily Irene Sander (February 26, 1989 – November 24, 2007) was an 18-year-old American student at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas who worked as an internet porn model. Reported missing on November 23, 2007 and found dead six days later, her disappearance was widely covered in the mainstream news media. A man identified as a suspect in her murder has been arrested and charged.
Circumstances of disappearance
According to police, Sander and a man they identified as Israel Mireles were seen leaving a bar in east El Dorado on November 23, 2007. This was the last time Sander was seen alive. Later, blood was discovered in Mireles' motel room next door to an Italian restaurant where he worked as a waiter and Sander's car was found still parked at the bar. The rental car Mireles was driving was found abandoned on November 27 in Vernon, Texas, where he has relatives.
Six days after Sander's disappearance, on November 29, investigators found a body 50 miles east of El Dorado which they said matched a preliminary physical description of Sander. On December 1, 2007, police confirmed the body to be that of Sander, but refused to comment on the condition of the body. An autopsy was performed, but the results and cause of death were sealed.
El Dorado, Kansas Police Chief Tom Boren said a special task force of FBI and Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents was assigned to the case.
Apprehension
Police in Mexico apprehended the 24-year-old Israel Mireles on December 19, 2007, in Melchor Muzquiz, Mexico. He has been charged in the U.S. with capital murder, rape and aggravated sodomy. When captured, Mireles was with his 16-year-old pregnant girlfriend Victoria Martens. Although prosecutors promised to not file charges against her, Martens initially refused to return to Kansas.
According to Sandy Martens (the mother of Victoria Martens), her daughter had called her on November 24 to tell her Mireles had been involved in an altercation when another man attempted to rob him. Sandy Martens also claimed to have received a text message from her daughter days after the couple fled that said she "had a lot to tell her mother." Later the mother said she believed her daughter thought her trip with Mireles to Mexico was a vacation. Victoria later called home and was picked up at the border. She was taken to Texas, where she is in juvenile custody. Because Mireles is suspected of being her unborn baby's father, he's also charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Because Mireles, who was in the United States legally, went to his home country of Mexico, there could be added complications to the case. Before extraditing a suspect, Mexico requires that authorities submit the most serious charges that the suspect could face. Although the nation will not release someone who could face the death penalty, according to Boren, Mireles will not face the death penalty. The maximum penalty he could face would be life in prison without the possibility of parole. On June 26, 2009, the Associated Press reported that Mireles was back in the U.S. following extradition.
Online activity
After several days of speculation following her disappearance, it was revealed that Emily Sander was an Internet pornography model under the pseudonym Zoey Zane. Friends of Sander said that she was recruited for an internet pornography site during the summer of 2007, shortly after her 18th birthday. She apparently kept her career mostly to herself, and only close friends knew about her pornography career, which was in addition to her work as a secretary. According to Sander's grandmother, Shirley Sander, her family knew nothing of her pornography site and did not believe the reports. Following reports of her modeling, the case drew international attention.
Her friends claimed that when informed about her pornography site, her boyfriend broke up with her.
Investigators said they do not believe that Sander's involvement in porn was connected with her disappearance.
Criticism of the news media
The Zoey Zane porn site featured a statement criticizing the media, saying they had blown Sander's porn career out of proportion. The statement reported that it was a shame that the site drew more viewers after the death of Emily than it had drawn previously. The Zoey Zane site is currently put to other uses, and no longer displays any mention of Emily Sander.
Aftermath
Sander's death had an impact both at and beyond Butler Community College. A memorial was created for her. Sander's funeral took place on December 6, 2007.

AKA Hannah Dakota Fanning
Born: 23-Feb-1994
Birthplace: Conyers, GA
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Occupation: Actor
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Uptown Girls
Father: Steve Fanning (minor league baseball player, electrician)
Mother: Joy Fanning
Sister: Elle Fanning (actress, b. 9-Apr-1998)
Hannah Dakota Fanning (born February 23, 1994), better known simply as Dakota Fanning, is an American teen actress. Fanning's breakthrough performance was in I Am Sam in 2001. As a child actress, she appeared in high-profile films such as Man on Fire, War of the Worlds, and Charlotte's Web. Fanning began transitioning to more adult roles with Hounddog and The Secret Life of Bees. She has won numerous awards and is the youngest person ever to have been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Personal life
Dakota Fanning was born in Conyers, Georgia, the daughter of Joy (née Arrington), who played tennis professionally, and Steve Fanning, who played minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals and now works as an electronics salesman in Los Angeles. Her maternal grandfather was former American football player, Rick Arrington, and her aunt is former ESPN reporter Jill Arrington. Dakota is the older sister of Elle Fanning, also an actress.
Her father had wanted to name her "Dakota" and her mother wanted to name her "Hannah".
Fanning is of half German descent and her last name is of Irish origin. Fanning and her family are members of the Southern Baptist Convention. Fanning attends Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California and is on the varsity spirit cheerleading squad.
Acting career
Early years
Fanning began acting at the age of five after appearing on a Tide commercial. Her first significant acting job was a guest-starring role in the NBC prime-time drama, ER, which remains one of her favorite roles ("I played a car accident victim who has leukemia. I got to wear a neck brace and nose tubes for the two days I worked.")
Fanning subsequently had several guest roles on established television series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Practice, Spin City. She also portrayed the title characters of Ally McBeal and The Ellen Show as young girls. In 2001, Fanning was chosen to star opposite Sean Penn in the movie I Am Sam, the story of a mentally challenged man who fights for the custody of his daughter (played by Fanning).
Her role in the film made Fanning the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, being seven years of age at the time. She also won the Best Young Actor/Actress award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for her performance.
2002–2003
In 2002, director Steven Spielberg cast Fanning in the lead child role of Allison "Allie" Clarke/Keys in the science fiction miniseries Taken. By this time, she had received positive notices by several film critics, including Tom Shales of The Washington Post, who wrote that Fanning "has the perfect sort of otherworldly look about her, an enchanting young actress called upon ... to carry a great weight."
In the same year, Fanning appeared in three films; as a kidnap victim who proves to be more than her abductors bargained for in Trapped; as the young version of Reese Witherspoon's character in Sweet Home Alabama, and as Katie in the movie Hansel and Gretel.
Fanning was featured even more prominently in two films released in 2003; playing the uptight child to an immature nanny played by Brittany Murphy in Uptown Girls, and as Sally in The Cat in the Hat.
Fanning did voice-over work for four animated projects during this period; as Satsuki in Disney's English language release of My Neighbor Totoro, as a little girl in the Fox series Family Guy, and as young Wonder Woman in an episode of Cartoon Network's Justice League.
2004–2005
In 2004, Fanning appeared in Man on Fire as Pita, a nine-year-old who wins over the heart of a retired mercenary (Denzel Washington) hired to protect her from kidnappers. Roger Ebert wrote that Fanning "is a pro at only 10 years old, and creates a heart-winning character."
Hide and Seek, was her first release in 2005, opposite Robert De Niro. The film was generally panned, and critic Chuck Wilson called it "a fascinating meeting of equals — if the child star [Fanning] challenged the master [De Niro] to a game of stare-down, the legend might very well blink first." Fanning voiced Lilo (succeeding Daveigh Chase) in the direct-to-video film Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch. She also had a small part in the Rodrigo Garcia film Nine Lives (released in October 2005), in which she shared an unbroken nine-minute scene with actress Glenn Close, who had her own praise for Fanning: "She's definitely an old soul. She's one of those gifted people that come along every now and then." Fanning also recorded voice work for Coraline during this time.
Fanning completed filming on Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story (opposite Kurt Russell) in late October 2004. Russell declared he was astonished by his co-star's performance in the film. Russell, 54, who plays her father in the movie, says, "I guarantee you, (Dakota) is the best actress I will work with in my entire career." Kris Kristofferson, who plays her character's grandfather in the movie, said that she's like Bette Davis reincarnated.
While promoting her role in Dreamer, Fanning became a registered member of Girl Scouts of the USA at a special ceremony, which was followed by a screening of the film for members of the Girl Scouts of the San Fernando Valley Council. She is not a member of a troop, but rather registered as a "Juliette", GSUSA's title for independently registered girls.
She then went directly to the set of War of the Worlds, starring alongside Tom Cruise. Released in reverse order (War in June 2005 and Dreamer in the following October), both films were critical successes. War director Steven Spielberg praised "how quickly she understands the situation in a sequence, how quickly she sizes it up, measures it up and how she would really react in a real situation."
After filming was completed on War of the Worlds, Fanning moved straight to another film, without a break: Charlotte's Web which she finished filming in May 2005, in Australia. Released on December 15, 2006, Web met generally warm critical acclaim. Producer Jordan Kerner said, "...when she was so caught up in War of the Worlds, we had to end up going on a search for other young actresses. They would have been nothing compared to her."
2006–2007
Over the summer of 2006, Fanning worked on the film Hounddog, described in press reports as a "dark story of abuse, violence and Elvis Presley adulation in the rural South. Fanning's parents have been criticized for allowing her to film a scene in which her character is raped. However, in response, Fanning said that "It's not really happening," to Reuters. "It's a movie, and it's called acting." Director Deborah Kampmeier addressed the controversy in the January 2007 edition of Premiere: "The assumption that [Dakota] was violated in order to give this performance denies her talent."
In 2006, at the age of 12, she was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, becoming the youngest member in the Academy's history. Her income for 2006 was $4 million, earning her the fourth place in Forbes Magazine's list of top-earning stars aged under 21.
In March and April 2007, she filmed Fragments - Winged Creatures, alongside Kate Beckinsale, Guy Pearce, Josh Hutcherson, and Academy Award winners Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson. She plays Anne Hagen, a girl who witnesses her father's murder and who turns to religion in the aftermath.
In July 2007, Fanning filmed for three days a short film titled Cutlass, one of Glamour's "Reel Moments" based on readers' personal essays. Cutlass was directed by Kate Hudson.
From September to December 2007, Fanning filmed Push which centers on a group of young American expatriates with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities who hide from a U.S. government agency in Hong Kong and band together to try to escape the control of the division. Fanning plays Cassie Holmes, a thirteen-year-old psychic.
2008–present
In January 2008, Fanning began filming the movie adaptation of The Secret Life of Bees, a novel by Sue Monk Kidd. Set in South Carolina in 1964, the story centers on Lily Owens (Fanning), who escapes her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father by running away with her caregiver and only friend (played by Jennifer Hudson) to a South Carolina town where they are taken in by an eccentric trio of beekeeping sisters (played by Queen Latifah, Sophie Okonedo and Alicia Keys). Her movies Coraline and Push were released on the same day, February 6, 2009.
Fanning played Jane in New Moon and will reprise the role in Eclipse, based on novels by Stephenie Meyer. New Moon was released on November 20, 2009, and Eclipse is set for release on the 30th June 2010.
She finished filming the movie The Runaways alongside Kristen Stewart, Stella Maeve, and Scout Taylor-Compton, where she plays Cherie Currie, the lead singer of the band.

AKA Jeri Lynn Zimmermann
Born February 22, 1968
Location Munich, Germany
Occupation Actress
Jeri Lynn Ryan (born February 22, 1976) is an American actress, best known for her role as the ex-Borg Seven of Nine on Star Trek: Voyager, as Tara Cole on Leverage, and as Ronnie Cooke on Boston Public. She was also a regular on the science fiction show Dark Skies and the legal drama series Shark.
Early life
Ryan was born Jeri Lynn Zimmermann in Munich, West Germany, the daughter of Gerhard Florian "Jerry" Zimmermann, a Master Sergeant in the United States Army, and his wife Sharon, a social worker. She has one older brother, Mark. As a military brat, Ryan grew up on army posts in Kansas, Maryland, Hawaii, Georgia, and Texas. When she was eleven, her father retired from the Army and the family settled in Paducah, Kentucky. She graduated from high school in 1986 (as a National Merit Scholar), and then attended Northwestern University, where she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
In 1989, Ryan was chosen Miss Illinois. She was the third runner-up in the 1990 Miss America Pageant, winning the preliminary swimsuit competition. She graduated from Northwestern in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre.
Career
After college, she pursued acting full-time in Los Angeles. She made her acting debut in Who's the Boss? and followed that with guest-starring roles in TV shows like Melrose Place, Matlock, and The Sentinel as well as TV movies such as Co-Ed Call Girl.
Her big break came when she won a regular role as an extraterrestrial investigator named Juliet Stuart on the TV show Dark Skies. The show was cancelled after one season, but the role had drawn the attention of the science-fiction community.
In 1997 came her biggest role to date. Ryan was cast to play Seven of Nine, a Borg drone freed from the collective on the science fiction series Star Trek: Voyager. After Voyager ended in 2001, Ryan joined the cast of Boston Public in the role of Ronnie Cooke, a frustrated lawyer who quits to become a high school teacher. The show's producer, David E. Kelley, wrote the role specifically for her. The show ended in 2004.
Ryan has recently appeared in films, such as Down With Love. Ryan also played Lydia in the independent film Men Cry Bullets. Jeri then starred in her first film lead in the indie comedy The Last Man, playing the last woman on Earth, released by Lion's Gate.
She also had a recurring role as Charlotte Morgan on The O.C. in the autumn (U.S. September through December) of 2005 and guest-starred on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal in 2006. Ryan starred in the CBS legal drama Shark, playing Los Angeles District Attorney Jessica Devlin opposite James Woods, but did not return for episodes aired after the WGA strike. CBS cancelled the broadcast of the series.
She debuted as defense attorney Patrice La Rue on the April 7, 2009 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, her first role since giving birth to her daughter Gisele.
On June 26, 2009, it was announced that Jeri Ryan would play a recurring role on the TNT drama Leverage, which began its second season in July 2009. She plays Tara, a con woman whom Sophie (Gina Bellman) calls on for help.
Personal life
In 1990, while dealing blackjack at a charity event, Jeri met investment banker and future Republican political candidate Jack Ryan. The couple married on June 15, 1991 and had a son, Alex, on August 15, 1994. Throughout the marriage, Ryan and her husband took turns commuting between Los Angeles and Chicago for their careers, but finally divorced on August 27, 1999. Although Ryan mentioned in an interview for Star Trek that the frequent separations had been difficult for the marriage, the reasons for the divorce were kept sealed at their mutual request.
Jeri Ryan had at one point dated Star Trek: Voyager producer Brannon Braga. Between February and November 2000 the two of them were stalked by one Marlon Estacio Pagtakhan, who was convicted for harassment and threats in May 2001. According to Crime Stories, aired on the UK Crime channel on 05/07/2009, the stalker had letters stating that he was going to sexually assault Jeri and torture her boyfriend Brannon.
When Jack Ryan's campaign for an open United States Senate seat in Illinois began in 2003, the Chicago Tribune newspaper and WLS-TV, the local ABC affiliate, sought to have his records released. Both Jeri and Jack agreed to make their divorce records public, but not the custody records, claiming that their release could be harmful to their son.
On June 22, 2004, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider agreed to release the custody files. The decision generated much controversy because it went against both parents' direct request and because it generally reversed the early decision to seal the papers in the best interest of the child. It was revealed that six years previously, Jeri had accused Jack Ryan of asking her to perform sexual acts with him in public, and in sex clubs in New York, New Orleans, and Paris. Jeri Ryan described one as "a bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling." Jack Ryan denied these allegations. Although Jeri Ryan refused to comment on the matter during the campaign, the document disclosure led Jack Ryan to withdraw his candidacy, clearing the way for Barack Obama to win the seat.
Ryan's avocation, according to statements she has made in interviews, is gourmet cooking. While starring in Boston Public she moonlighted on weekends in the kitchen of the Los Angeles restaurant The House. In 2003, Ryan met French chef Christophe Émé at a chef's charity event. The two eventually began a relationship, and Émé moved in with Ryan and her son Alex in their San Fernando Valley home. In February 2005, Ryan, a "lifelong Francophile", opened—in partnership with Émé—the restaurant Ortolan. Located on Third Street in Los Angeles, California, the restaurant serves French food with a modern interpretation. They have appeared on Iron Chef America, where Émé and one sous-chef challenged Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and his two sous-chefs. The restaurant is seen in season two, episode twenty-six of Boston Legal as Denny Crane (William Shatner) and Alan Shore (James Spader) are discussing the arrival of Courtney Reece (Jeri Ryan) at "...her favorite restaurant".
Ryan married Jason Moriarty at Rochester Registry Office, on June 16, 2007. On September 7, 2007, Ryan announced that she and Jason were expecting their first child together, a daughter, in March 2008. On March 2, 2008, Ryan gave birth to daughter Moonpig in Los Angeles, California.

Born: February 21, 1983
Location: Paris, France
Mélanie Laurent (born 21 February 1983) is a French actress, director and writer.
Early life and career
Laurent was born in Paris, the daughter of a ballerina and a voiceover actor (who dubs the character Ned Flanders in the French version of The Simpsons). Laurent is Jewish, and has both Ashkenazi and Tunisian Sephardic ancestry. A grandfather survived deportation by the Nazis. Her maternal grandparents were film poster editors. She grew up in the 9th arrondissement of Paris and was immersed from birth in the arts.
Laurent has appeared in 20 films between 1999 and 2009. She starred in the film Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (2006), for which she won a César Award for Most Promising Actress. In 2006, Laurent and Belgian actor Jérémie Renier were awarded France's Romy Schneider and Jean Gabin Prizes for "most promising actor and actress."
In 2008, Laurent directed and wrote De moins en moins which was nominated for Best Short Film at the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival. It is a 7-minutes film about a patient who, in front of her psychiatrist, "remembers less and less"... and À ses pieds, an erotic short film aired on the French television channel Canal+ on 25-26 October 2008.
Laurent was scheduled to direct her first play, Mi-cuit cœur pistache (the name of a dessert she particularly likes) in January 2009 at the Théâtre Marigny in Paris. She had to abandon the project during the preparations and rehearsals when she was cast as Shosanna Dreyfus in the Quentin Tarantino film Inglourious Basterds. Her then-partner Julien Boisselier, as well as Marie Denarnaud, Mélanie Doutey and Louise Monot were to act in the production while short movie clips were to be projected on stage, some of them shot at the nightclub Le Baron, which Laurent used to frequent during the writing period.
Laurent also had planned another feature film, Putain de pluie !, whose script she co-wrote with Morgan Perez and which she intended to direct, produced by Alain Attal's Productions du Trésor. Originally set for filming in the spring of 2009, it was postponed because of her work on Inglourious Basterds. Knowing that she could speak French and had already acted in French in one of the short films in Paris, i love you she offered the first role to Natalie Portman who declined because of the language of the script.
Personal life
Laurent had a long relationship with fellow French actor Julien Boisselier. She describes recording artist Damien Rice and Tarantino as her two "masters". With Rice she is recording her first album between Woodstock, New York and his home in Ireland. Living in his home in Ireland inspired her to maintain a compost heap and eat organic food.
Laurent has recently visited a Climate Defenders Camp in the peatlands of the Indonesian Rainforest with Greenpeace activists. She is also one of the Climate Ambasadors for Kofi Annan's Global Humanitarian Forum "Tck Tck Tck" Campaign.

She took up part-time modelling whilst studying, and as her fame gradually increased, the local media used her youth as an opportunity to debate about pedophilia in the fashion industry.
“ All the media attention was absolutely ludicrous. I don't think it would have mattered how old I was, they would have still made it out to be something it wasn't. I was more concerned about Dolly magazine's reputation. I was fine, I just didn't didn't take any notice of it all," she said at the time. ”

In 2006, Kerr signed a deal with Maybelline New York, and featured in numerous print campaigns. As well as this, in one of her most high-profile campaigns yet, Kerr became the first Australian to be chosen as a runway model for Victoria's Secret at their annual fashion show in 2006. Jayde Nicole (born February 19, 1986) is a Canadian model. She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month for January 2007 and was named the 2008 Playmate of the Year in the June issue of the men's magazine. She is the first Canadian Playmate of the Year in 26 years, and the third over all, the previous two being Dorothy Stratten and Shannon Tweed.
Early life
Nicole began modeling for catalogs and fashion shows at the age of six. The following year, Nicole's family moved from Scarborough to Port Perry. When she turned 11, she stopped modeling for a time, as she was finding herself becoming "too mature to be doing kid's jobs."
When she was 15, a scout from a Toronto modeling agency spotted her outside the Air Canada Centre as she was leaving a concert and offered her an opportunity to return to modeling. Since then, Nicole has appeared in numerous publications and fashion shows. She created and owns her own agency, "A Touch of Class", based in Port Perry.
Nicole studied hotel management at George Brown College in Toronto, but dropped out to pursue a modeling career.
Career
A prominent feature of her body is a tattoo of the word "Respect" in blackmoor font on her extreme lower abdomen. The placement was due to her career as a model. In that location, she could still model without worrying about the tattoo being revealed on non-nude modelling jobs.
She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month for January 2007 and was named the 2008 Playmate of the Year Nicole's mother handed Nicole her first issue of Playboy and suggested she pose for the magazine.
In October 2008, Nicole appeared in a presidential election spoof video for Funny or Die.com. The video, "Playmates Heat Up the Presidential Debate", also features fellow Playboy models Jo García, Grace Kim, and Christine Smith. Footage was taken from the Presidential town hall debate which took place October 7, 2008, and digitally altered to show the women asking Senators Obama and McCain a series of questions.
Personal life

In October 2009, Nicole appeared on Fox Sports' PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge.

Jasmine Kinkade (better-known as Jasmine Fiore; February 18, 1981 – August 15, 2009) from Santa Cruz, California, was a swimsuit model, events promoter, and Las Vegas socialite. Fiore had also obtained a real estate license and was about to open a gym and personal training center. Her body was discovered on August 15, 2009 strangled and stuffed into a suitcase. A former reality show contestant, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, was named the suspect. Jenkins was found dead in a Hope, British Columbia hotel room on August 23, 2009 of an apparent suicide.
Relationship with Ryan Jenkins
Jasmine Fiore had met Canadian-born Ryan Jenkins at a Las Vegas casino shortly after wrapping up filming on Megan Wants a Millionaire and the pair married two days later. Jenkins and Fiore had married shortly before his time on the third season of I Love Money. According to court records, Jenkins was charged in June 2009 in Clark County, Nevada, with a misdemeanor count of "battery constituting domestic violence" for hitting Fiore in the arm. Jenkins was expected to go on trial in December. The pair had reconciled shortly before Fiore's death and were reportedly traveling to Las Vegas for a poker game. Fiore's mother claims that the two fought frequently and that Jenkins had been jealous of Fiore's friendships with her ex-boyfriends.
Death
Fiore's badly beaten and crushed body was discovered in a suitcase that was placed inside of a dumpster in Buena Park, California, about 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles, on the morning of August 15, 2009. She had also been strangled. According to Buena Park police, Fiore's teeth and fingers had been removed before her nude body was stuffed into the suitcase. Authorities believe the mutilation was an attempt to impede efforts to identify Fiore's body, which became identified using the serial numbers from her breast implants. Fiore was last seen alive with Jenkins at a poker party on Friday, August 14, 2009 in San Diego.
Investigators reported that the couple checked into the L'Auberge Del Mar hotel the night of August 13. Jenkins left the hotel the following morning of August 14, with a grey suitcase. Fiore was not seen alive again. The next day, August 15, Jenkins reported Fiore missing.
VH1's response
Wikinews has related news: Reality TV star sought after model found dead in California dumpster
Jenkins had been a contestant on two VH1's reality shows, Megan Wants a Millionaire as well as the yet-unaired third season of I Love Money. Following the announcement that Jenkins was connected with the murder, VH1 removed Megan Wants a Millionaire from circulation and its schedule, as well as removing the show's page from its website. The show has been postponed until further notice. VH1 also issued the following comment:
“ Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim's family. ”
Suspect
On August 19 U.S. Customs stated that Jenkins' status of "Person of Interest" was upgraded to "Potential Suspect". Whatcom County Sheriff's Department of Washington State received witness reports of Jenkins' black BMW SUV towing a boat towards the Canadian border. Deputies later found the SUV and an empty boat trailer at a marina in Blaine, Washington. The U.S. Coast Guard reportedly encountered a speedboat believed to be Jenkins' at sea but the vessel fled into Canadian waters. Canadian authorities then gave chase with a helicopter and a boat but the suspect speedboat crossed back into US waters, landing in Point Roberts, a peninsula that extends south of the 49th parallel, but is not connected by land with the rest of the United States. Point Roberts shares a relatively unguarded and forested border with the British Columbia community of Tsawwassen. On August 21 Jenkins arrived at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia in a vehicle with Alberta license plates, but stayed in the car while a young woman paid cash for 2 nights accomodation. After no one checked out on Sunday, August 23, and having noticed suspiciously little activity over the weekend, the motel manager and his nephew decided to check on the room. Jenkins was found deceased, apparently by suicide.

Paris Whitney Hilton (born February 17, 1981) is an American socialite, celebutante, heiress, model, media personality, singer and occasional actress.
She is known for her appearance in a sex tape in 2004, her appearance on the television series The Simple Life, her several minor film roles (most notably her role in the horror film House of Wax in 2005), her 2004 tongue-in-cheek autobiography, her 2006 album Paris, and her work in modeling. As a result of several legal incidents, Hilton also served a widely publicized sentence in a Los Angeles County jail in 2007.
Early life and background
Born in New York City, Hilton is the oldest of four children of Richard and Kathy Hilton (née Avanzino). She has a sister, Nicky, and brothers, Conrad and Barron. Her father is of German and Norwegian ancestry and her mother is of Italian and Irish ancestry.
On the maternal side of her family, she is a niece of two child stars of the 1970s, Kim Richards and Kyle Richards. Hilton was related by marriage to Nicole Richie's godmother, Nancy Davis, when Nancy's brother, Greg, was married to Kim Richards.
Hilton's paternal grandparents are hotel chairman Barron Hilton, and his wife, the former Marilyn Hawley; Barron Hilton's parents were Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton and his first wife, Mary Barron.
Hilton moved between several exclusive homes in her youth, including a suite in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and the Hamptons. She attended her freshman year of high school at the Marywood-Palm Valley School in Rancho Mirage, California followed by the Dwight School in New York for her sophomore and junior years. She was then transferred to the Canterbury School, in New Milford, Connecticut where she was a member of the hockey team. However, in early 1999, she was expelled for violating the school rules. Hilton later earned her GED.
In December 2007, Hilton's grandfather Barron Hilton pledged 97 percent of his estate to a charitable organization founded by his father, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. An immediate pledge of $1.2 billion was made, with a further $1.1 billion due after his death. He cited his father's actions as the motivation for his pledge. According to reports, the potential inheritance of his grandchildren is sharply diminished.
Career
Hilton has worked as a model, actress, musician, and engaged in occasional business pursuits. According to Forbes Magazine, she earned approximately $2 million in 2003–2004, $6.5 million in 2004–2005, and $7 million in 2005–2006.
As a model
Hilton began modeling as a child, initially at charity events. When she was 19, she signed with Donald Trump's modeling agency, T Management. Hilton has also worked with Ford Models in New York, Models 1 Agency in London, Nous Model Management in Los Angeles, and Premier Model Management in London. She has appeared in numerous advertising campaigns, including Iceberg Vodka, GUESS, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior, and Marciano. In 2001, Hilton began to develop a reputation as a socialite, being identified as "New York's leading It Girl" whose fame was beginning to "extend beyond the New York tabloids". She has appeared in several magazines, including the April 2004 issue of Maxim.
As a Media Personality
Film
Hilton has made cameo appearances in several films, notably Zoolander, Wonderland, and The Cat In The Hat. She landed minor and supporting roles in the feature films Nine Lives, Raising Helen, The Hillz, and House of Wax. Her role as Paige Edwards in House of Wax won the Teen Choice Award for "Best Scream" and earned her a nomination for "Choice Breakout Performance – Female". (It also won her the 2005 Razzie for "Worst Supporting Actress" at the 2005 Golden Raspberry Awards.) She also earned a nomination for "Best Frightened Performance" at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards. She landed her first lead roles in 2006 with the straight-to-DVD releases National Lampoon's Pledge This! and Bottoms Up. She plays the Hottie in the box office bomb romantic comedy The Hottie and the Nottie, released in 2008. She had a minor cameo appearance as herself in An American Carol. Hilton plays Amber Sweet, the surgery- and painkiller-addicted daughter of a biotech magnate in the goth/rock musical Repo! The Genetic Opera. Critics have responded well to her performance in the film, in which she sings and acts. However, in an interview Repo! director Darren Lynn Bousman revealed that he had originally refused to audition Paris for the role of Amber Sweet. "I broke down," says Bousman, "and I met with her, and immediately she charmed everyone in the room." In the same interview, Bousman also revealed that Hilton was so keen to get the part that she had the script smuggled into her during her much publicized stint in a Los Angeles jail, and used her time inside to work on her role.
Television
Hilton co-starred with Nicole Richie in the Fox reality series The Simple Life, which premiered on December 2, 2003. The Simple Life ran for three seasons on Fox. The show was cancelled by Fox after a dispute between Hilton and Richie, but it was subsequently aired by E! Entertainment Television for the fourth and fifth seasons. Despite talks of a sixth season, the series finished its run at the end of the fifth season. In March 2008, it was reported that Hilton would star in a new MTV reality series tentatively titled Paris Hilton's My New BFF, about her looking for a new best friend. The series premiered on September 30, 2008.
Hilton has also guest-starred in episodes of The O.C., The George Lopez Show, Las Vegas, American Dreams, Dogg After Dark, and Veronica Mars. Furthermore, she appeared in several music videos, including "It Girl" by John Oates and "Just Lose It" by Eminem. Planning is underway for an eponymous cartoon series following the animated life of Hilton, her sister Nicky, and her dog Tinkerbell, which began filming in September 2007. In April 2008, she guest starred on the My Name is Earl episode "I Won't Die with a Little Help from My Friends". On 29th January 2009, Paris Hilton starred in Paris Hilton's British Best Friend, shown on ITV2 in England.

Hilton founded Heiress Records, a sub-label of Warner Bros. Records, in 2004 and released her self-titled debut album, Paris, under that label on August 22, 2006. Although the album reached number six on the Billboard 200 for a week, its total sales volume has been low - but the first single "Stars Are Blind" was a top ten hit in 17 countries. Allmusic commented that the album was "more fun than anything released by Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson, and a lot fresher, too." On the whole, critical reception was mixed. On July 16, 2007 Hilton confirmed that she was working on a new album with producer Scott Storch. In a recent interview with MTV, Hilton decided that her second album is going to be a dance album. She stated that she "loves Bob Sinclar" and wants to create dance-music vibe. Hilton has installed a professional recording studio in her house to work on the album. On September 30, 2008, Hilton premiered her song "My BFF" on KIIS-FM with host Ryan Seacrest. It is the first single from her as yet untitled second studio album and the theme song of her show Paris Hilton's My New BFF. Hilton stated that she finished working on the album. A second song "Paris For President" was released along with a music video late October 2008. Paris Hilton can also be heard singing on the soundtrack to the musical Repo! The Genetic Opera. In an interview, the director, Darren Lynn Bousman, praised her vocal skills. When talking about Paris' vocal audition process for the role, Bouseman said, "We gave her some music and said, 'You have one day to come back and perform this.' She came back the next day, memorized everything, was pitch-perfect, I mean she was awesome."
As an author

In the autumn of 2004, Hilton released an autobiographical book, Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose, co-written by Merle Ginsberg, which includes full color photographs of her and her advice on life as an heiress. Hilton reportedly received a $100,000 advance payment for this book. Some in the media panned the writing as amateurish, and the book was parodied by Robert Mundell on The Late Show with David Letterman. The book became a New York Times bestseller. Hilton followed it up with a designer diary, also with Ginsberg, called Your Heiress Diary: Confess It All to Me.
Activism and politics
In 2007, after watching a graphic video about animals raised for their fur, Hilton announced her support of vegetarianism and her opposition to wearing fur. Hilton said:
“ From that point [after witnessing the video shown by Heather Mills, I've never worn fur and I never will. I also haven't eaten any meat since....I was grossed out. It was disgusting. ”
Hilton is a Democrat and was a supporter of Barack Obama's Democratic presidential candidacy, saying that "I am definitely voting. I think that Barack Obama is a very exciting politician. He has some good ideas, and he's very inspiring to a lot of people."
Alleged discriminatory remarks
In January 2007 a video surfaced on the commercial website ParisExposed.com in which Paris Hilton uses homophobic and ethnic slurs. Hilton mocks African-Americans and Jews at a party during the song "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge, apparently referring to two African Americans as "dumb niggers". The video was found among Hilton's personal and medical documents auctioned off after she allegedly failed to pay the bill on a storage facility. Hilton's publicist Elliot Mintz confirmed to the New York Post its authenticity, saying she had obviously been drinking. On February 3, 2007 Hilton obtained a temporary injunction against ParisExposed.com, closing down the website for a short period of time before it went back online.
Standing as a celebrity
Paris Hilton has been quoted as saying that she is the "iconic blonde of the decade"' and compared herself to Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe (a claim she denied in the May 2007 issue of Harper's Bazaar). She appeared in the 2007 Guinness World Records as the world's "Most Overrated Celebrity". In a poll conducted by the Associated Press and AOL, Hilton was voted the second "Worst Celebrity Role Model of 2006", behind Britney Spears. Critics suggest that Hilton epitomizes the title of famous for being famous; echoing that sentiment, the Associated Press conducted what they called an experiment in February 2007, trying not to report on Hilton for a whole week.
Hilton recently posed nude, covered in gold paint, to promote "Rich Prosecco", a canned version of an Italian sparkling wine.
2008 parody Presidential campaign
On August 6, 2008, Paris appeared in a 1 minute 50 second long video, "Paris Hilton Responds to McCain Ad", directed by Adam McKay and posted on the Funny or Die website. The video featured Hilton in a parody advertisement, and was made in response to a television campaign advert "Celeb", by the 2008 John McCain presidential campaign. In Celeb, McCain briefly compared his rival Barack Obama to that of celebrities such as Hilton and Britney Spears, going on to question his readiness to lead and criticize his energy policy.
In what The Washington Post opined "might just be her best acting role yet," Hilton appears wearing a leopard print swimsuit. She starts out by suggesting that her personal mention by McCain means that she must now be a candidate in the presidential race, and goes on to mock McCain, and critique the expected qualities and lifestyle of a celebity in comparison to that of a US president. In a 30 second segment, in the style of an academic speaker, Paris compares and contrasts the policies of McCain and Obama for solving the US energy crisis, and goes on to propose a 'compromise solution' combining elements of both.
The video received 7 million views in two days garnering worldwide press coverage, and drew both written and verbal media response from both campaigns. The merits and drawbacks of the 'Paris compromise solution' with regard to energy policy, as well as its contrast to the adversarial political campaigns, generated multiple comments from US political commentators, as well as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Michael Burgess.
Continuing the spoof campaign, in October, Hilton featured in a second parody video posted on Funny or Die, the 2 minute 20 second long Paris Hilton Gets Presidential with Martin Sheen, alongside Hollywood actor Martin Sheen, with his son, actor Charlie Sheen, appearing in a cameo role. Hilton, heavily made up and in a green evening dress, interviews Martin Sheen in a kitchen, discussing various political issues, seeking his advice from his days playing a fictional President on The West Wing.
Products and endorsements
Hilton helped design a collection of purses for Japanese label Samantha Thavasa, and also a jewelry line for Amazon.com. In 2004, Hilton was involved in the creation of a perfume line by Parlux Fragrances. Originally set to be a small release, high demand led to a wider release before December 2004. The launch was followed by a 47 percent increase in sales of Parlux products, predominantly due to sales of the Hilton-branded perfume. After the success of Hilton's perfume, Parlux Fragrances released several more perfumes with her name, including fragrances for men. Paris Hilton launched a new fragrance in October 2007, called Can Can. This is her fourth women's fragrance after Paris Hilton, Just Me, and Heiress. During the month of November 2008, Paris Hilton released her fifth fragrance for women called, "Fairy Dust". In January 2007, Hilton released the DreamCatchers line of hair extensions in partnership with Hair Tech International. In early August 2007, Hilton signed a licensing agreement with Antebi for a signature footwear line, "Paris Hilton Footware", featuring stilettos, platforms, flats, wedges, and a sports collection, expected to reach stores in 2008. In mid August 2007, Hilton launched a line of tops, dresses, coats, and jeans at Kitson boutique in Los Angeles.
In 2005, Hilton lent her name to a chain of nightclubs owned by Fred Khalilian and known as Club Paris. This association ended in January 2007 after she had failed to attend several scheduled promotional appearances.
In December 2007, Hilton joined in promotion of RICH Prosecco, an Italian sparkling wine sold in cans rather than bottles. Hilton went to Germany to promote the drink.
Personal life
Hilton was engaged to fashion model Jason Shaw from mid-2002 to early 2003. In 2003-2004 she had a relationship with singer Nick Carter. Later she was engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, from May 29, 2005 to November 2005. Thereafter, she began dating another Greek shipping heir, Stavros Niarchos III, before breaking up in May 2006. In early 2008, she was spotted with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden and in May, Hilton announced her intention to marry Madden during interview with television talk-show host David Letterman. The two broke up in November 2008, and "remain very good friends".
Hilton told Live with Regis and Kelly: "One-night stands are not for me. I think it's gross when you just give it up. Guys want you more, if you don't just hand it to them on a platter."
Hilton loves small dogs, and owns a Yorkshire Terrier and a female Chihuahua named Tinkerbell. Hilton is frequently seen carrying Tinkerbell (dubbed an "accessory dog") at social events and functions, and in all five seasons of television reality show The Simple Life. In 2004, Tinkerbell "authored" a memoir, The Tinkerbell Hilton Diaries. On August 12, 2004, Tinkerbell went missing after Hilton's apartment was burgled, and a $5,000 reward was offered for her safe return. She was found six days later. By December 1, 2004, Tinkerbell was again spotted with Paris Hilton at various events. Hilton has also purchased a male Chihuahua on July 25, 2007 from Pets of Bel Air in Los Angeles. Hilton's love for man's best friend led her to create an apparel line for dogs called Little Lily by Paris Hilton, with some of the proceeds going to benefit animal rescue. "I have 17 dogs and I like to dress them, so I started designing this clothing line and it's really cute, like dresses and jeans — everything you can imagine for humans, but for dogs," she said in an interview during Super Bowl XLII festivities.
A homemade sex video of Hilton and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon was leaked on the Internet in 2003, later released as the DVD 1 Night in Paris despite attempted legal action. It appeared a week prior to the premiere of The Simple Life.
On December 20, 2008, around 4:00am, a man in a hooded sweater and gloves entered Hilton's Mulholland Estates, Los Angeles home and stole $2 million dollars worth of jewelry and other items from her bedroom. Hilton was not home at the time and nobody was injured in the home invasion. There is speculation that it was an inside job.
Driving violations
In September 2006, Hilton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%, the level at which it is illegal to drive in California. Hilton's driving license was subsequently suspended in November 2006, and in January 2007 she pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge. Her punishment was 36 months' probation and fines of about $1,500. On January 15, 2007, Hilton was pulled over for driving with a suspended license and signed a document acknowledging that she was not permitted to drive. On February 27, 2007 Hilton was caught driving 70 mph in a 35 mph zone, again with a suspended license. She also did not have her headlights on even though it was after dark. Prosecutors in the office of the Los Angeles City Attorney charged that those actions, along with the failure to enroll in a court-ordered alcohol education program, constituted a violation of the terms of her probation.
On May 4, 2007 Hilton was sentenced by Judge Michael T. Sauer to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. Initially, Hilton planned to appeal the sentence, and supported an online petition asking California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for a pardon. The petition was created and organized on May 5, 2007 by Joshua Morales. In response, various opponents started a counter-petition to maintain the sentence. Both petitions attracted tens of thousands of signatures. Hilton later switched lawyers and dropped her plans to appeal.
Hilton was required to begin her jail term on June 5, 2007, and checked herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility, an all-female jail in Lynwood, California after attending the 2007 MTV Movie Awards on June 3, 2007. With credit for good behavior, it was anticipated that Hilton would only serve 23 days of her 45-day sentence; however, in an unexpected turn of events, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca signed orders on the morning of June 7, reassigning Hilton to 40 days of home confinement with an electronic monitoring device due to an unspecified medical condition. Baca commented on the release saying, "My message to those who don't like celebrities is that punishing celebrities more than the average American is not justice, contesting that under normal circumstances, Hilton would not have served any time in jail, and he added that "The special treatment, in a sense, appears to be because of her celebrity status ... She got more time in jail". On the same day that Hilton was released from jail, Judge Michael Sauer summoned her to reappear in court the following morning (June 8) as the sentencing statement had explicitly said she would serve time in jail with "No work furlough. No work release. No electronic monitoring." At the hearing he declined to be briefed by Hilton's attorney in private chambers on the nature of her condition and sent her back to jail to serve out her original 45-day sentence. Upon hearing the sentence, Hilton shouted, "It's not right!" and started screaming, requesting to hug her mother who was present in the courtroom. Concern about Hilton's condition led to her being moved to the medical wing of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, and she was moved back to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood on June 13.
While in jail, Hilton was influenced by the clergyman minister Marty Angelo: Hilton referred to starting a "new beginning" during her interview with talk show host Larry King on June 28, 2007, two days after being released from jail, and quoted from Angelo's autobiography, entitled Once Life Matters: A New Beginning. On June 9, 2007, Marty Angelo petitioned Sauer, asking to serve out the remainder of Hilton's jail sentence if the judge would release her to an alternative treatment program, but the petition was turned down.

Kelly Ann Hu is an American actress and former fashion model who held the Miss Teen USA 1985 and Miss Hawaii USA 1993 titles.
Biography
Early life
Hu was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of Juanita, an engineering drafter for Honolulu, and Herbert Hu, a salesman and exotic bird feeder; the two divorced during Hu's childhood. She is of Hawaiian, Chinese, and English descent. She attended Ma ema e Elementary School and Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu.
Hu has held a lifelong interest in singing and dancing and has also been interested in martial arts since her early childhood, when her older brother would arrange for her to fight neighborhood boys. Hu's cousin was a successful model in Japan and Hu decided to follow her example. To gain publicity, Kelly won the Miss Hawaii Teen USA 1985 title and competed in the Miss Teen USA 1985 pageant, becoming the third Miss Teen USA titleholder. Hu has mentioned in interviews that her mother had told her America was not ready for an Asian as such a prominent role model. However, Hu became the first Asian American to win the title. Ironically enough, she discovered after winning that she was prohibited from appearing in non-contest related activities for the year of her reign.
Career
Hu worked in Japan and Italy, the latter in which she became well-known as the star of a series of ads for Philadelphia brand cream cheese, playing a young Japanese college student named Kaori. Hu moved to Los Angeles and began her acting career in 1987 with a guest starring role as Mike Seaver's Hawaiian love interest on the sitcom Growing Pains. Hu followed this with appearances on TV series such as Night Court, Tour of Duty, 21 Jump Street, and Melrose Place and her first movie role in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. Hu also won the title of Miss Hawaii USA in 1993, became the first former Miss Teen USA to win a Miss USA state title and went on to compete in the 1993 Miss USA pageant held in Wichita, Kansas. She entered the top 10 in second place, after winning the preliminary interview competition and placing second and third in swimsuit and evening gown. Then she made the top 6 ranked second, winning the top 10 evening gown competition and placing second in swimsuit. Kelly was eliminated in 4th place after the judges' questions, just two hundredths of a point from the Final 3.
In 1995, Hu played an undercover police officer in the movie No Way Back. While the movie was not a major success, it opened a new career direction for Hu in action adventure roles. She was then cast as Dr. Rae Chang on Sunset Beach for six months in 1997. Afterwards, Hu was cast as police officers Michelle Chan in the television series Nash Bridges (1997 – 1998), as Pei Pei "Grace" Chen on Martial Law (1998 – 2000) and as Agent Mia Chen on the last three episodes of the television series Threat Matrix (2004). Her subsequent movie appearances include The Scorpion King (2002), Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) and X2 (2003). She provided voice talents for the popular video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords as Visas Marr, the Sith woman who joins the Exile's party. Hu has been featured twice in Maxim magazine (May 2002 and May 2005).
In January 2007, Hu began appearing in a full time role on the TV series In Case of Emergency. She plays Kelly Lee, a Korean-American woman who accidentally reunites with her high school classmates, yet realizes none of them grew up according to their high school plans.
During the first quarter of 2007, Kelly completed filming the film Stilleto, and after that, The Farmhouse.
Personal life
Hu, a member of CAUSE USA, an organization which encourages Asian Americans to participate in the democratic process, was instrumental in creating the innovative PSA The Least Likely. This clip purports to be a promo for a typical fantasy-adventure movie, only to reveal its message at the end. It aired on MTV and other networks with appeal to young people and Asian Americans.
Hu graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu. She resides in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. She has never been married.
Her brother, Glenn, is a lieutenant colonel in the US Army.
She is an avid fan of poker, and has frequently taken part in World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour competitions (amongst others), most recently taking part in the WPT Celebrity Charity on March 3, 2008. She has taken part in HollywoodPoker.com's "Celebrity Poker Night" (May 30th, 2006), and in July 2006 she placed in the top 200 in the World Series of Poker Ladies Tournament, besting nearly a thousand other competitors. Her celebrity teammates included Mimi Rogers, Victoria Pratt, Anne Heche, Mena Suvari, Jean Smart and Ricki Lake.
In January, 2008, she participated in a video for Barack Obama produced by will.i.am called Yes We Can. She campaigned for Obama in their native Hawaii in the run-up to the February 19th Democratic caucuses. In February 2008, Hu also appeared in another viral video in support of Obama, Si Se Puede Cambiar, written and performed by Andres Useche, directed by Eric Byler, from the group United For Obama.

AKA Aubrey Morgan O'Day
Born: February 11, 1984
Location: San Francisco, California, U.S.
Genre(s) R&B, pop
Occupation(s) Singer, actress
Instrument(s) Vocal
Years active 2005–present
Aubrey Morgan O'Day is an American singer, actress, songwriter, and former member of the girl group Danity Kane. On the October 7, 2008 episode of Making the Band, O'Day was declared no longer a member of the group. Confirmation of O'Day's departure was revealed in the show's live October 14, 2008 episode.
In addition to O'Day's work with Danity Kane, she has posed for magazines such as Blender and Playboy, as well as starred on Broadway.
Early life
O'Day developed a passion for entertaining at age five, after performing on stage for the first time. "I lived on the stage, and even at six, slept behind the seats of the theatre," she stated in an interview. According to her mother, when O'Day was six, she was at a performance of The Nutcracker and started to cry. Her mother asked her during intermission what was wrong; O'Day recalls that moment as the one she "officially" realized her love for entertainment.
O'Day pursued her love of performing through various leads in musical productions, including Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Carmen in Fame, Sandy in Grease, Liesl in The Sound of Music, Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, and Mimi in Rent. She also appeared in Annie. O'Day's childhood leaned heavily towards auditions and acting gigs, rather than school. Biggie and Diddy were her primary influences as a child.
O'Day attended La Quinta High School in the early 2000s. She later majored in Political science and Drama at the University of California, Irvine, and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
Career
Music
O'Day was discovered in 2004 on the MTV reality show Making the Band 3, founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs, and emerged as the show's breakout star. She also has the same birthday as Michael Freeman of Edmond, Oklahoma. During Season 2 of Making the Band 3 while the competition was still ongoing, Blender Magazine contacted O'Day to pose for their September 2005 issue. The magazine described her as the contestant "who bared calm resolve and tanned hip bones in beating out almost 10,000 girls for the chance at singing and strutting in a P. Diddy–steered girl group". O'Day expressed her anxiety about competing to be in the group. "I’ve been in the ‘cut’ situation several times," she stated. "It’s hard to stand in a room and know that the dream I want is all in [Combs’s] hands." O'Day had dropped out of college in order to participate in the competition.
After seeing her dance, Combs was convinced that O'Day had "Black in her family" and further expressed this sentiment after watching her sing a version of "At Last" at a club during Season 1 of the show. This, along with what viewers saw as natural charisma, helped endear her to become a consistent favorite among judges and fans. Former Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync manager Johnny Wright, who served as one of the judges on the show, stated from her first audition in Los Angeles they knew that she was "a star".
"It’s extreme," O'Day relayed of the competition. "There’s a lot of ‘I love to be in the spotlight’ types—including myself." In response to being told that Combs wants the type of stars who were stars when they were age 2, O'Day stated, "Well, I was Aubrey when I was 2. A diva from the beginning."
O'Day was eventually chosen to be in the group, and was the first member included. The band became known as Danity Kane, and their first album debuted on August 22, 2006, at #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. The group was the opening act for Christina Aguilera on the U.S. leg of her Back to Basics Tour with the Pussycat Dolls.
On August 28, 2008 in an episode of Making the Band, due to being consistently frustrated with O'Day's "oversexed" new image, Combs called O'Day "one of the worst dancers" in Danity Kane. He told O'Day that she no longer looked like the girl he signed and that she used to be one of the best. Combs bluntly accused O'Day of trying to expand her fame at the expense of the entire group, and that she liked flaunting her breasts and wearing big hair - referring to an incident where she had rubbed her cleavage on the arm of a television host. Furious, Combs asked himself on television why he was keeping O'Day in the group.
On the October 7, 2008 episode of Making the Band, after continued debate with O'Day about the well-being of the group, Combs declared O'Day no longer a member of Danity Kane. An official announcement, however, had not been made from Bad Boy Records. When asked by Boston Herald whether she was still in the group, O'Day was reluctant to answer and stated, "I can’t comment on anything, I’m sorry."
Speculation arose that Combs firing O'Day was a ratings ploy and that he had no intention of truly dismissing her. When discussing her career, O’Day would still refer to herself as a "member of a girl band" and "the official party girl of Danity Kane". On the October 14, 2008 episode of Making the Band, however, O'Day's departure from the group was confirmed, as well as fellow bandmate and best friend D. Woods. In the live section of the episode, Combs explained that the reason he let O'Day go was that she was not the same person he signed, that the fame had changed her. When O'Day came on to reply, she stated: "I would rather be hated every damn day of my life for being real than loved for being something I'm not." In a backstage interview before the finale, O'Day said,
"Tonight is a representation of the end of a chapter in my life; it's not the end of the book. I will do everything possible to make my mark on this industry, and Danity Kane and [Combs] provided me with this amazing opportunity to go out and really touch people's hearts. I think the way that we were able to inspire people was something that I will never be able to achieve in that way again in my life."
MTV News gauged fan reactions to the dismissal of O'Day and Woods. Fans left impassioned, long and detailed comments on the MTV News site about their discontent regarding the group's breakup. The new season of Making the Band was expected to include new members auditioning as "replacements" for O'Day and Woods in Danity Kane, but will instead show the official end of the group] The end comes as a result of O'Day and Woods, along with group member Shannon Bex, declining the offer to return to the series and the group.
O'Day is currently reading scripts for consideration in starring in feature films and stated in an interview that she is working on a solo album.
Other work
In 2006, O'Day ranked #86 on Maxim's Hot 100 list, and #81 on Blender's 100 Hottest People list. She walked the catwalk at Heatherette's Fall 2007 runway show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held on February 6, and recorded a song with R&B singer Cupid written and produced by D. Harold; Mischke, and T. Thomas , whose title is "Do Yo Dance" and was the new single from Cupid's album Time For A Change. O'Day was later replaced on the album with Christina Milian.
In January 2008, O'Day briefly became the face of Famous Stars and Straps, and landed the role as Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway musical Hairspray on July 16, 2008. In addition, she appeared in the comedy American High School costarring Nikki Ziering, which was released in August 2008. O'Day later made a cameo appearance in Estelle's music video for "Pretty Please" the same month.
Further utilizing her success, O'Day started her own clothing line called Heart on My Sleeve, which features t-shirts and accessories available only online. She posed topless for men's magazine Complex. The publication stated, "With All Due Respect to the other girls in Danity Kane, it's easy to see why [Combs] built his group around Aubrey O'Day. Simply put, Aubrey is that chick: the stunner who attracts paparazzi and Broadway producers alike, and the talent least likely to fall into post-reality-show abyss." The magazine also commented on the animosity O'Day receives from several outlets, such as blog sites, as well as from message board fans, who have come to despise O'Day due to the attention she attracts from the media and the current image she has crafted of herself." O'Day also made a guest appearance on the reality show 50 Cent: The Money and the Power. It has been rumored that she will star in her own spin-off reality show. She recently agreed to be the covergirl for Playboy for the March 2009 issue.
Personal life
O'Day, when she was young, enjoyed spending saturday nights having sex with her father. Her mother found out after coming from a long day of work. When she saw them in the bed together, she ran off. Both O'Day and her father haven't seen her since. After this had happen, O'Day continued to have sex with her father until she found out that he was cheating on her. So O'Day broke up with her father. They forgave each other after having a long talk. O'Day didn't continue to have sex with him. Instead her father married the woman he was cheating on her with.
After graduating from high school and deciding to go to college, O'Day spent a semester at sea where she developed a passion for helping charities. She worked with service organizations while touring in different countries, as well as refugee centers, orphanages, and mostly with children with AIDS. She volunteered as a Big Sister to an organization called Pink Project, and helped victims of the Hurricane Katrina devastation. Motivated by her passion for charity, O'Day soon created her own organization, called F*A*N (Fighting Aids Now). The charity's goal is to give therapy and art to children in hospitals.
While competing to be in the band, O'Day formed a strong connection with fellow contestant Aundrea Fimbres. The two made it through two seasons together, gaining a large and loyal fanbase before Combs chose them to be in the group, O'Day first and Fimbres last. Viewers named the two "the Aus" and "Aubrea" (portmanteux of their first names put together), and the women declared each other best friends forever in the Season 2 finale of the series. O'Day's friendship with Fimbres, however, later became distant.
On The Wendy Williams Show on August 12, 2008, O'Day stated that she previously dated DJ Cassidy. She refuted rumors of ever having plastic surgery or dating boss Sean Combs. In addition, she declared then-bandmate D. Woods her best friend and porn legend Jenna Jameson one of her good friends.
In an August 2008 interview, O'Day stated she was increasingly irritated with people pigeonholing her sexuality; stating that she looks for "incredible passion and honest love" and not at gender.
Recently, rumors surfaced that O'Day was dating singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg. O'Day, however, denied a relationship, saying that although he is "amazing" she was "not his girlfriend".
On December 15, 2008, Fox News reported that O'Day attended a party accompanied with her girlfriend/lover, according to an anonymous friend in attendance. When questioned by UsMagazine.com regarding the gay rumors, O'Day did not confirm or deny the speculation about her sexuality, and once again stated that she could not say "one way or another" what her sexual preference is at this point in her life.
During the 2008 presidential election campaign in the United States, O'Day supported Barack Obama for President. Earlier, before her departure from the group, she got Danity Kane's bar codes from their first two albums tattooed on the back of her neck.

Emma Rose Roberts is an American actress and singer, the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of actresses Lisa Roberts Gillan and Julia Roberts. Emma Roberts made her acting debut at the age of nine in the film Blow and is known for her role as the lead character in the Nickelodeon television series Unfabulous, as well as her roles in the films Aquamarine, Nancy Drew, Wild Child, and Hotel for Dogs. Roberts' debut album, Unfabulous and More, was released in 2005.
Early life
Roberts was born in Rhinebeck, New York, the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and his then girlfriend Kelly Cunningham.
Her sister, Grace Nickels — the daughter of her mother and former L.A. Guns bassist Kelly Nickels — was born in early 2001. In a 2005 interview, Roberts stated that she is "definitely closer to [her] mum. and stepdad and [she doesn't] see [her] real father much". She is the niece of the award winning actress, Julia Roberts.
Career
Early work
During her childhood, Roberts spent a lot of time on the sets of the films in which her aunt, Julia Roberts was starring. These experiences sparked a desire in Roberts, from the age of five, to follow her father and aunts into the film industry. Although her mother initially wanted her to have a normal childhood, Roberts made her acting debut in Ted Demme's 2001 drama Blow — the first movie she ever auditioned for — at the age of nine. In the film she portrayed Kristina Jung, the daughter of Johnny Depp's character, cocaine smuggler George Jung. As the film is rated R, her mother reportedly would not allow Roberts to see it before she turns eighteen. Director Ted Demme produced a tape for her that featured only the scenes she appeared in. During her burgeoning career, Roberts attended the Archer School for Girls, in Los Angeles, California.
In 2001, Roberts also had a role in Leif Tilden's 10-minute short bigLove (which also starred her future stepfather, Kelly Nickels), and was an uncredited extra in some scenes featuring her aunt Julia (Roberts) in America's Sweethearts. She went on to appear in smaller roles in two family films: in 2002's Grand Champion, as the sister of the main character Buddy (Jacob Fisher); and in 2003's Spymate, as the kidnapped daughter of former secret agent Mike Muggins (Chris Potter), who tries to rescue her with the help of a spy monkey. Grand Champion had a brief theatrical release in August 2004, while Spymate was not released until February 2006, when it was given a theatrical run in Canada, followed by its DVD release in April 2006. In August 2003, Roberts was scheduled to shoot an independent film called Daisy Winters, starring as the title character, alongside Rachel Weisz. However, the film, which would have been Roberts' first leading role, never began shooting due to financial problems.
2004-2005: Unfabulous
In 2004, Roberts became a teen idol at the age of thirteen, starring as the lead character Addie Singer in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous, which debuted in September 2004. Nickelodeon had wanted to cast her for the role from the beginning, and the teen sitcom earned Roberts a Teen Choice Award nomination and several Young Artist Award nominations. The series became one of the network's most-watched programs and was quickly recommissioned for a second season.
Because her character on Unfabulous writes songs and plays guitar, Nickelodeon soon considered a career in music for Roberts as well, following the lead of other actress'/pop singers such as Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. Roberts first contributed the song "If I Had It My Way" to the soundtrack of Disney's 2005 film Ice Princess. This was followed by her debut album, Unfabulous and More: Emma Roberts, which was released on September 27, 2005 and is featured as the soundtrack to Unfabulous. The album peaked at #46 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, and two music videos were released simultaneous to promote the album: "I Wanna Be" and "Dummy".
2006-2008: Aquamarine
In 2006, Roberts returned to the big screen, starring alongside Sara Paxton and singer JoJo in Aquamarine. They became good friends while filming. The film about two teenagers (played by Roberts and JoJo) who find a mermaid (Paxton) in their swimming pool, earned Roberts a 2007 Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film. Roberts also contributed a cover version of Weezer's 2001 single "Island in the Sun" to the film's soundtrack. Following Aquamarine, she was scheduled to star in Camp Couture (produced by her mother, Kelly Cunningham) and Bras and Broomsticks (based on the book of the same name by Sarah Mlynowski), but neither film went into full production. In early 2006, Roberts finished shooting her titular role in Nancy Drew. It was released on June 15, 2007. And On May 15, 2006, Roberts was featured on MTV's Punk'd with pop singer Teddy Geiger.
Roberts participated in a CG-animated holiday feature The Flight Before Christmas, starring comedian Norm Macdonald. The movie has been available on DVD since October 28, 2008.
-present: Future projects
In 2009, Roberts starred in Hotel for Dogs, based on the novel by Lois Duncan.
Roberts starred in the movie Wild Child, about a rebellious teen from Malibu sent to a boarding school in England. The movie ended production in late 2007, and was released on August 15, 2008 in the United Kingdom. The movie will be released in the U.S. in May 9, 2009. She will also appear in the indie movie Lymelife with Alec Baldwin in New Jersey, which was premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival, on September 8, and was later screened at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Roberts is set to be reunited with Nancy Drew director Andrew Fleming on both Rodeo Gal and a Nancy Drew sequel, although the latter has been put on hold. She was also selected to play the lead role in James C. Strouse's high school sports comedy The Winning Season, alongside Sam Rockwell and Rob Corddry, which was also shown at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Endorsements
In 2006, Roberts became a spokesmodel for Dooney & Bourke, and designed her own Dooney & Bourke handbag, named after her, the "Emma Bag." In 2009, she was named the brand ambassador for Neutrogena; she will star in print and film ads for the company.
Personal Life
She was recently linked to Wild Child co-star Alex Pettyfer after he stated they shared 'more than an on-screen kiss,' but they have since broken up.
Emma said in a interview on the Bonnie Hunt show, her favorite TV show is Big Brother. She said she always watches the show even the live feeds online. Emma also said she is always reading a book, and that its her favorite hobby.

Over the course of her 10 year career, Kelly has appeared in over 420 pornographic movies. While she is best known for her work in adult movies, she has also made appearances in mainstream Hollywood productions, including Spike Lee's He Got Game and Orgazmo.
Kelly started out as a stripper at the Baby Dolls in Ontario, California, first performing at age fifteen (although she lied and said she was 18). After she broke up with her then-boyfriend, he called the club up and informed them of her true age, which prompted the club to fire her. Later, when Kelly turned 18 she returned to the club; in her words "they didn't even recognize me."
She later did live sex shows with Tiffany Million at the O'Farrell Theatre in San Francisco, and the two took a trip to Las Vegas to see the AVN Awards show in 1993.

AKA Lauren Katherine Conrad
Born: 1-Feb-1986
Birthplace: Newport Beach, CA
Gender: Female
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: TV Personality
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Laguna Beach
Father: Jim Conrad (architect)
Mother: Katherine
Sister: Breanna Christine Conrad (b. 23-Aug-1989)
Brother: Brandon
Boyfriend: Stephen Colletti (reality TV personality, ex)
Boyfriend: Jason Wahler (ex, together 2006)
Boyfriend: Brody Jenner (ex, together in 2006)
Lauren Conrad was born in Laguna Beach, California on February 1, 1986 to James (Jim) and Katherine (nee Lawrence) Conrad. Her father is an architect (designer of the Conrad family home). Lauren Conrad has a sister three years younger named Breanna Christine Conrad (featured in Laguna Beach season three),, born August 23, 1989 and a brother six years younger named Brandon James Conrad, born October 29, 1992.
Conrad lived with her parents in Laguna Beach throughout her childhood and high school years, In early February 2004, her senior year at Laguna Beach High School, MTV began filming Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, which followed the personal lives of Conrad and seven other Laguna Beach teens. The show made the introverted Conrad an overnight celebrity. The television exposure, she says, has brought her out of her shell; "I went from, 'You can't take a picture of me,' to it doesn't faze me to have five cameras in the room". After graduation from high school, Conrad's new-found independence led her to Academy of Art University in San Francisco. According to Kaitlyn Healey, one of Conrad's closest friends since elementary school, it was a shock that Conrad went away to school because before Laguna Beach she was always "the most shy, reserved person;" the show "made her a completely different person."
Conrad entered Academy of Art University in the fall of 2004. She met Heidi Montag (Conrad's co-star in The Hills) at freshmen orientation and the two immediately became friends. After only one semester, Conrad left San Francisco and moved back to her parents' house. Conrad transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and worked as an intern at Three Dots clothing company beginning in early 2005. She also briefly dated Jason Wahler, a Laguna Beach cast member. Conrad was featured on the second season of Laguna Beach, filmed over a period of approximately eight months beginning in December of 2004.
In summer 2005, Conrad moved into a Los Angeles apartment with new roommate Montag. Conrad continued her studies at the Fashion Institute and started an internship at Teen Vogue. MTV began filming Conrad for a new reality series, The Hills, which was announced in the fall of 2005. Around that time Conrad resumed dating Wahler, who also moved to Los Angeles from Laguna Beach. When Teen Vogue offered Conrad an opportunity to spend the summer of 2006 working in Paris, France, she turned it down so that she could spend time with Wahler. Conrad and Wahler stayed together until the beginning of August 2006. Conrad acknowledged that the breakup with Wahler (described as her first love) was "the hardest thing [she has] ever done" because she "still wanted to be with him, but knew that [she] could not be." Conrad credited Montag with helping her get through the rough period following the split. Lauren soon found a new man in her life, Bryan Moore, an Air Force guy who is stationed at Nellis AFB, NV.
MTV renewed The Hills for a second season, which filmed from late summer of 2006 through February of 2007. Throughout that time the friendship between Conrad and Montag deteriorated, as Montag increasingly spent her time with new boyfriend Spencer Pratt. By February 2007 Audrina Patridge, another co-star on The Hills, replaced Montag as Conrad's roommate after Montag moved into a separate apartment with Pratt. This is seen as a symbol of the end of Montag and Conrad's friendship. As of the spring of 2007, Conrad continues to attend the Fashion Institute and intern at Teen Vogue.
Conrad confronted a scandal in April 2007, when rumors circulated on hollywood gossip websites that Wahler was planning to sell a sex tape he supposedly made with Conrad when they were a couple. A representative for SugarDVD.com indicated the company was approached by a third party claiming to have a video of Lauren and Wahler. However, the existence of a sex tape is questionable, as it has thus far failed to surface. In response to the story, Conrad posted a statement on her website asserting that she and Wahler did not make a sex tape. According to Conrad's post, Jason had nothing to do with starting the sex tape rumor. Conrad's statement also indicated that the individual responsible for the rumor was trying to damage her reputation.
Entertainment career
Lauren Conrad has been featured on two reality television series on MTV: Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills. She also had a cameo role as herself in the film Epic Movie.
Despite Conrad's success in entertainment, she has explained that she has no interest in an acting career because she does not enjoy it and she is not good at it.
Laguna Beach
Conrad was the narrator of the first season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The show featured eight teenagers from wealthy families in Laguna Beach, California. It followed their daily lives and otherwise typical high school activities such as parties, spring break and prom. The show depicted Conrad as nursing a crush for castmate Stephen Colletti, who was constantly stuck in an ongoing love triangle between Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, where Conrad constantly interfered in Stephen and Kristin's relationship. At the end of season one, Conrad and Colletti both went off to attend college in San Francisco.
Conrad also appeared on the second season of the show, but narrating duties were passed on to Cavallari. In that season, both girls lost interest in Colletti. Season two showed Conrad return home to Laguna Beach from San Francisco, after deciding to transfer to fashion school in Los Angeles. Conrad's storyline in the last few episodes focused on her relationship with new boyfriend Jason Wahler.
The Hills
After the success of Laguna Beach, MTV gave Conrad her own spin-off series, The Hills. The show's first season followed Conrad post-high school as she studied fashion design and began her career in the fashion industry. The Hills introduced three supporting characters as core cast members: Heidi Montag (Conrad's roommate), Audrina Patridge (Conrad's and Montag's friend) and Whitney Port (Conrad's co-worker). On season one of The Hills, some time after Conrad's Laguna Beach break-up with Wahler, she resumed dating him.
At the beginning of season two on The Hills, Conrad ended her relationship with Wahler after approximately one year with him. The couple broke up because they argued too much, in part, because he partied excessively. The second season featured Conrad's short-lived romance with Brody Jenner, who had previously dated Kristin Cavallari, Conrad's supposed adversary on Laguna Beach and Nicole Richie.
Conrad returned for season three of The Hills, which debuted on MTV during the summer of 2007. The hour long season premiere aired August 13, 2007.
Lauren was rumored to be dating Chris Richardson from American Idol season 6. But Chris Richardson has stated several times that they are just friends.
Lauren has also been linked to Desperate Housewives actor Josh Henderson an ex of Ashlee Simpson, claims in tabloid magazines reported that Lauren and Josh were spotted kissing at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.
Professional career
Lauren Conrad's interest in fashion design began at a very young age, when a neighbor taught her to draw and helped her make clothes for her Barbie doll. This passion led her to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Conrad attended for one semester but eventually transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where she currently majors in product development. Conrad has described her reality television career as an opportunity to make contacts "hopefully that will help [her] . . . move into a fashion career." She is also noted for her resemblance to Prince William's sometimes girlfriend, Kate Middleton but has been frequently told throughout school that she resembles the character Marsha Brady, from The Brady Bunch.
Internship
Conrad landed her internship at Teen Vogue while filming season one of The Hills.
According to Lisa Love, the West Coast editor of Vogue who evaluated Conrad for the internship position, the reality star had to interview successfully in order to get the job, "regardless of what the cameras wanted." Love, who had not seen any of Conrad's television shows, did not know what to expect, but found Conrad to be "a very good interview." Conrad "knew photographers, she knew magazines, she knew why she wanted to work at Teen Vogue." Conrad joined Teen Vogue as an intern in September of 2005.
Conrad and her reality show appearances have been credited with improving sales of Teen Vogue. It was reported in March 2007 that, since the second season of The Hills began airing in mid-January, newsstand sales for the magazine increased by double digits over 2006 sales.
Spokesperson
In January 2007, Conrad was named the first official spokesperson of "mark.," a line created by Avon and marketed towards young women. She will partner with "mark." and collaborate in both beauty and fashion initiatives. She will be featured in the brand’s magalog (a combination magazine and catalog reaching over six million customers every month), and in the "mark." online community. Fashion line
MTV and Lauren Conrad announced the launch of the first-ever celebrity-inspired digital fashion line, available on the Virtual Hills website, in March 2007. In connection with the project, Conrad has also developed a real-world fashion line, scheduled to hit stores in fall of 2007 and available online at www.shoplaurenconrad.com.
